have just thought of a nitpick -- the bed was too big!
Pros:

it would be nitpicking to be critical.

food - my wife is a vegetarian and was of the opinion that choices for her were limited/ unimaginative.

Unfortunately the spa was closed and the weather was wet and windy but it was February!
Pros:

Restaurant staff very friendly. 'Cosy room' comfortable. Early dining discount

Cons:

No info given on arrival, eg times of breakfast, location of restaurants, etc. Bath had inadequate grab rails. Soap dispenser out of reach if using the bath. Bedroom window almost impossible to open so no ventilation in the room and when we did open it one morning the car outside was running its engine! The room overlooked the carpark!

Enjoyable short break would consider returning in the summer.
Pros:

Service in the hotel was very good and staff were very friendly. The view from our room was also very good.

Cons:

More non seafood/fish options in the main restaurant dinner menu. The weather unfortunately wasn't the best so the view was a little spoiled.

Good location for Avon Beach
Pros:

Continental breakfast is good.

Cons:

Car parking can be tricky so need to factor that in on arrival. Cannot recall if we registered the number plate, I guess that we should have been advised to do that by check in desk. Tonic from mini bar is a tad expensive.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. It was a real highlight of our trip.
Pros:

The room was fabulous and gin was a really nice touch. You thought of everything :)

Cons:

I used the gym and there was whinging noise that was quite irritating. It would be good to have this fixed.
The other thing that would make the gym good is if there was a foam roller to stretch with after completely the exercise. They are not expensive and would be a great value.
