Nothing
Lovely location , staff and food was good
Noisy room at night , and quite cramped
Strange to have to pay for one bottle of tonic to go with your free gin .
The location was lovely, the hotel was well run and the food very good.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
My Acessable room was roomy the bed was comfortable, there were a few things not helpful when someone has mobility issues .the kettle and all the tea and coffee making items were housed in the wardrobe and the kettle had to be taken to the dressing table to connect it to the electricity supply, the coffee machine was on the floor of the wardrobe very difficult for someone who is disabled. There was no hairdryer in the room or bathroom. The liquid soap container by the sink in the bathroom was too high up and very difficult to push the top to get the liquid soap out. The toilet roll holder was on the wall behind the toilet and difficult to reach without knocking the roll on the floor.
I was the single occupant of room 203
Regarding the restaurant and bar facillity,
Good service and good food, however, to charge £6 for 3 slices of bread is a bit much, also the 12.5% charge for service for everything even a glass of lemonade is over the top
Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.
The room was so hot, even with a fan.
Lovely room, nice food, very good service
All staff very friendly and accommodating
Can recommend this hotel
Pool closed which was a shame, and some building work going on around the hotel .
very helpful reception staff
we knew the spa was being refurbished but the work was slightly intrusive at times, some noise and workmen detracted from the excellent view
Staff very good, attentive and polite 5 stars to Phil, one of the waiters
Jetty restaurant excellent
Great location
Room upgrade was small
Why pay extra for tonic to accompany free gin?
TV availability poor
Car park crammed
Great location, close to the beach. Ideal for walks. Lovely meal in the Jetty restaurant, staff very attentive.
Room was hot and couldn't see any thermostat to turn it down.
Staff were very good. In particular Phil, the excellent waiter and also the man who helped with the parking. The views from the restaurant are stunning. The Jetty restaurant was really lovely and the souffle excellent.
Breakfast was included but only continental, so a bit disappointing. Also all the spa/pool facilities were closed for refurbishment. We were not aware of this until we received a 'reminder' the day after booking. To be fair this was cleqr from the hotel website but we had booked on booking.com. So we were not aware..
The restaurant food was excellent
All of the staff were very friendly, especially the waiting staff
Beautiful location easy walk to beach and harbour
Great setting very clean, staff delightful
Staff was excellent and view was good
Parking
The level of customer service stood out. Lynne at reception handled my situation with understanding and professionalism, reviewing the booking timing and kindly waiving the cancellation fee as a gesture of goodwill. That kind of discretion and care reflects very well on the hotel.
Nothing to note. I was unfortunately unable to stay due to a booking error on my side, but the team handled it exceptionally well.
Breakfast and service very good, as was dinner. Room and location perfect for our purposes.
No compaints whatsoever.
The service
Confusion about the breakfast. We booked full breakfast but they had we were only due continental
Fantastic hotel - bedroom and bathroom were lovely. Food was incredible and staff super friendly. The view from our room across the harbour was great. Walking distance of shops and harbour.
