Very clean
Car park very busy but easy sorted very helpful
Rang three time no one picked up phone just music I found them
Beautiful hotel, lovely room, hotel restaurant and bar. Fantastic location and an excellent breakfast
The room/ bedding was a bit hot and the rooms are quite small
Comfy bed and good location
Wasn't aware spa was being refurbished and cooked breakfast was extra cost
Nice location overlooking the sea. We had a fantastic meal in the Upper Deck restaurant but it was very expensive.
Very expensive already and then you have to pay extra if you want a cooked breakfast rather than the continental.
We went for Sunday lunch in the Upper Deck restaurant. Absolutely super. The tables are well spaced so no crowding. The staff deserve a special mention. Outstanding service...attentive, friendly without being overbearing. Special shout out for Phil. What a lovely guy. Highly efficient and clearly takes a great pride in his work. A credit to the Harbour.
The food was excellent. ...cooked to perfection.
Well presented. Generous portions.
Really hot. I couldn't ask for more.
Lovely chilled out stay at The Harbour in Christchurch. Spacious comfortable room, delicious food at The Jetty and also Upper Deck where we were looked after by the fabulous Phil. Lovely little treats for my husband’s birthday. Very relaxing and good to explore the surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again.
The staff were incredible, especially the waiting staff at dinner & breakfast.
The spa & swimming pool were closed for refurbishment when we visited. We definitely want to return to see the finished set up.
Location was great!
Very disappointed with our stay. The room we were given did not match the images shown when booking. After calling reception, we were told we had been allocated a smaller room that wasn’t even pictured on the website, which felt misleading.
The room was also uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. In addition, we were aware that the spa facilities were not open, but this was not reflected in the price. Given the limited amenities, the cost did not feel justified.
Location and grounds
Room was very warm at night. Staff at the jetty restaurant not welcoming. The mains took a while to be served.
We visited for Easter Sunday lunch…
A lovely hotel and restaurant, giving us a warm welcome. Menu choice was excellent for a set price dining experience. Food was excellent. Service was also excellent throughout, especially our server Phil.
Drinks in the garden after lunch topped off a lovely afternoon
The location, breakfast, staff and Dinner were excellent.
The swimming pool and spa was closed for refurbishment. This should have been advised prior to stating otherwise we would have considered another property in their portfolio. The room was too hot. The radiators were on full blast and we couldn’t cool the room down despite turning them off as soon as we arrived.
Everything such a lovely friendly hotel
Nothing
The room was lovely the bathroom was a little dated and the shower not the best, given the price but I’d happily stay again as the staff were great.
Shower and bath were okay but nothing more. Nothing to complain about but not as good as others for less cost
We had been wanting to stay at this hotel for a number of years, but it was slightly higher than our normal price range. We were delighted by our two-night stay and thoroughly recommend this hotel for its attention to detail and the positive attitude of all members of staff. Everyone was so courteous and willing to please, especially the Italian gentleman at Reception.
We were upgraded to a deluxe harbour view room, room 304, and it fitted the bill exactly – luxurious, comfortable, light and spacious, with a glorious view of the harbour.
The restaurant also provided excellent quality, catering easily for my gluten free needs and offering distinctive, flavoursome dishes. We loved the chicken breast with prawns in a lobster sauce, while puddings included crème brulee and a wonderful fondant with cherries.
So, we want to come back!
Room was excellent, food lovely, location perfect. Garden area and views beautiful .
Nothing really-obviously disappointed spa closed but did know this and were upgraded to compensate .Just means will have to return !!
