Nice location and good quality bed and furnishings
Right on the main road (in the annex not the main hotel building) noise from the road and staff stomping up and down the stairs made it less relaxing
Just returned from a great stay at harbour hotel in Christchurch. Room was luxurious with fabulous view of the harbour. The Upper Deck restaurant food was a great experience. The food was first class and the experience was enhanced by Phil with his attentive service and engaging conversation. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.
We enjoyed and excellent break for my wife's birthday. Room was comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in both the Jetty and the Upper Deck was superb. We couldn't have been better looked after. We will be back!

No pool no spa facilities but we were warned.
What a special hotel in a beautiful spot with stunning views (although we were very unlucky with the weather - thick mist - nil visibility!!). We had a two night stay, every member of staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. The food in the restaurant was excellent both nights - very generous portions and beautifully presented. Breakfast too was excellent - all dietary needs catered for. The room was comfortable and spotless (although I would say the bathroom needs some decorating and repair). Overall everything was perfect, but would prefer old fashioned light switches in the room - just couldn't get the buttons to work properly!! Will definitely be back, once the spa is completed as it was a shame we could not use it, and it was not possible to sit outside and enjoy the views today when the weather cleared due to drilling noise and re-building works....but that couldn't be helped. Thankyou everyone for your kindness and professionalism...see you in June!

We had a fantastic stay and would 100% come back.
Our second visit to HH at Christchurch and it certainly didn’t disappoint. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful and such a pleasure to know that nothing was too much trouble. Attention to detail was first class.
Food was great and we enjoyed all our meals, including the G&T service!
Stayed for a Saturday evening and had the best stay we could have asked for. Lovely hotel a short walk to the beach. Room was clean, stylish and the bed was so comfortable. Staff were professional, polite and catered for oir every need (even when we forgot to pack toothpaste). Will definitely be returning again soon.

food - my wife is a vegetarian and was of the opinion that choices for her were limited/ unimaginative.
