This is an expensive hotel so our expectations were reasonably high. There were examples of good service but also examples of poor service. In our room, the towel rail didn't work, the sink drained only slowly, the windows were dirty, the coffee machine didn't work properly, it wasn't possible to tell what the coffee pods were, only choice of biscuit every day was stem ginger and the corridor outside our room seemed continually to be the main laundry sorting area. The hotel restaurant food was very expensive relative to the quality and when we asked for a little tartar sauce they added nearly £4 to the bill! This is a greedy overrated hotel.
Centrally located right on the waterfront with lovely views, indoor swimming pool, polite friendly staff and excellent restaurant serving very nice breakfast

Reception button on room phone did not connect with reception. To get reception you had to dial 0 and it didn’t tell you that!

The room was on the small/hot side. Would be nice to have a cooked breakfast included (but the continental was lovely)
The service and room were great, the view was unbelievable.
Breakfast was okay but we didn’t upgrade to cooked food.
We had estuary view, unfortunately we had a building right in front. We were also expecting 2 sun loungers not one. It also said through Booking.com breakfast included, we didn't expect to pay for cooked breakfast. This should have been explained when booking.

When I booked it was with breakfast. We found that was only for continental on arrival, if you wanted a cooked breakfast it was another £10 per head, plus beware all the service charges they like to add. This is not a cheap place to stay and the additional charges I don’t believe are warranted.

Great position and comfortable
Restaurant was hopeless - something had gone wrong in the kitchen and the waiters and waitresses didn’t know what to do. Things were served late or not at all and some things weren’t cooked to a proper standard although others were.
