Access to Porthminster beach, big room and bathroom. Spa was a nice touch
Didn’t know it was valet parking without easy access to the car. Bathroom was huge but sink/shower was tiny in comparison. Very hot room with no AC. Breakfast was very average. Fridge was broken and not repaired after request
Lage des Hotels war sehr schön. Etwas außerhalb, aber fußläufig zur Innenstadt.
Service am Empfang und im Restaurant. Schlecht organisiert. Falsche Abrechnung. Wenig zuvorkommend.
The lication was perfect. On the first day of our stay there was a good availability of the various items. Service was prompt. However on the second morning there was distinct lack of items on display, the coffee and tea were very slow to arrive. Not what you would expect for a hotel of the Harbour quality.
There was a stain on the mattress protector and was only changed when i complained. The complimentary gin was less than a single each and i would rather they didnt bother than offer such a small offer. In the past the decanters were half filled. We dont need that but if you do something do it right or not at all.

Great location and view of the beach
We were in a fourth story room up a narrow staircase not ideal for a couple in their late 70s
The view. The barmaid, Lauren, and a guy in the kitchen played piano beautifully and should be playing regularly. Great talents wasted... although Great bartender and kitchen staff
No walk in shower even though requested.
The bed was comfortable.
There was no view, the room was crammed and the windows did not open.
On one occasion we had to ask for towels and had to ask for a hair dryer. The
Bathroom was also too small with the shower door making it more awkward to wash.
Perfect. I stay in a lot of hotels for work..... and this is one of the best. Simply...a high-quality hotel on the coast.
Parking was the only issue (capacity), but rectified promptly and courteously. The FoH staff were excellent! The only other thing (first-world problems!) was the leisure facilities closing at 8.pm. As a late arrival, after a long day... I'd have loved to have had more time using the facilities.
The breakfasts were excellent with a great view of the sea from the room. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The bar and it's adjoining patio were most pleasant and service was impeccable.
Our first room which was right by the junction of the main road into and out of St Ives. It was very noisy but too hot to close the window so we put up with the noise. Fortunately, the staff found another room for us which was considerably better.
The room- This was very clean and well appointed
The Room- unfortunalty it was at the front of the building along a very busy road therefore we were woken each morning far to early.
The breakfast- The cooked breakfast was absolutely awful, I didn't eat any, sausage were very processed, bacon under cooked and every thing else very dry and then I was charged a extra £10 for the pleasure. My wife wanted fruit salad and as we were eating at 9:30 you would not expect that there was none left!! We order 2 Cappuccino and when they arrived we were told they had run out of Chocolate.
Car parking- we were charged £10 per night, I wasn't aware of this charge when booking
Schöne Aussicht
Fenster nich zu selbstständig zu öffnen nur mit Hausmeister
Personal sehr langsam Frühstück sehr schlecht Eierspeisen wurden gesondert berechnet
It’s a really gorgeous hotel, with stunning views, an excellent spa and bar.
All of the staff were amazing, friendly and happy to help!
The views from the breakfast room were beautiful, the breakfast itself was good and offered a full range of cooked and fresh options, including milk alternatives, which can sometimes be tricky to come by.
The spa was stunning, with a good size pool, a perfect temperature jacuzzi and both a sauna and steam room - we got lots of use out of these facilities while we were there, which made our stay even more relaxing.
The bar also had incredible views and an excellent selection of cocktails!
We throughly enjoyed our long weekend stay here
My only criticism, that unfortunately let the hotel down a little was the bathroom in our room - in particular that it clearly had not been updated in a while and the shower was terrible, either freezing or boiling and sprayed directly at you! It’s a gorgeous hotel and I think with a little renovation to the bathrooms, it would be perfect!
