Poor quality breakfast items and loud music whether you wanted it or not. Our room faced the road, so noisy and no view

All was fine

Unfortunately the room we booked wasn’t the one that we were given.

I thought that the staff could be better trained, for example at breakfast many people had to wait for a table because the staff had not cleaned up quickly enough, in the bar I had to wait nearly 10 minutes for a drink because there was only one person serving, there was a wedding at the time but more staff were needed.

Für warmes Frühstück bei den Preisen noch extra zu bezahlen find ich krass. Ich würde erwarten, dass das dabei ist.

Frühstück und Personal

Breakfast on Saturday was chaos. we arrived at 9am as booked and had to wait a long time to be seated, tables hadn't been sufficiently cleared. We were given coffee but no cups, two requests for cups went un-headed. When they did arrive there were no saucers. It took an hour to get cooked food and by then you had run out of smoked salmon. Not a good experience
It was as if you had never had a large party stay in your hotel. There were insufficient staff to cope with the demand.
We learnt our lesson and booked breakfast earlier for Sunday and Monday . Things were much better as a consequence.

a la carte gets boring

Room was in the basement, no view.
Carpets either side of the bed had thick tea stains on them.
Shower was scorching, I reported it but no change was made. I raised the issue with Booking.com after the stay too, but you refused to answer them. Couldnt use the congealed shower gel, had to open it us, it hadnt been cleaned forever long!!
I had a material roofbox with not security lock on my car. I was told it would be in a safe location. I saw it in the station carpark when I got on the train!!

Overpriced for what it is

Felt a lot of the staff were very inexperienced….. poor service with information from checking in to dining requests. A wedding was at the hotel & think that took over all the staff & they didn’t see to their general customer needs……. Wasn’t informed it was off site parking also. Would not recommend or stay again.

Sauberkeit im Badezimmer, Duschkopf alt und nicht recht fixierbar und die Stange war lose im unteren Teil, dass man sie aus der Wand nehmen konnte. Die Badewanne hat vom erstem bis letztem Tag die selbem Flecken.

Frühstück war die Auswahl sehr bescheiden für ein solches Hotel. Am dritten Tag mussten wir 15 min warten bis wir einen Tisch hatten.

Wir haben uns nach der erstem Nacht beschwert, dass es sehr laut ist, besonders Morgens, wenn der Foodlieferant kam und seinen Motor vom Lastwagen um 6:30-7 Uhr vor unserem Zimmer laufen lies. Danach der Wäschekurier der die Wagen schön über die unebne Strasse zog was sehr viel Lärm verursachte. An der Reception kam nur Schulterzuckem und null Bemühung.

Overall very good however definitely cut back on experienced staff.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. They obviously did their very best, however training in certain aspects of customer care could have been improved

Jack Daniel’s rather than Gin would have been nice 😂

No sea view from room, no walk-in shower only shower in bath with no handrails, not enough mirrors for wife to make face, window only opened two inches, no AC, nightmare breakfast - nearly finished before our coffee arrived, our breakfast table was right next to the buffet table, very close to people walking past, not acceptable for the price we paid.
