Great hotel if you're planning to spend time at the beach and eat within the hotel. There's a few local restaurants we tried and they're well worth a visit.

From the moment you enter, you're greeted by the soothing sound of waves and exceptional service. The rooms are excellently appointed with perfectly functioning air-conditioning - a true comfort in Sri Lanka's climate.
The breakfast is a highlight, offering an impressive array of options from Sri Lanka, India, China, and the West. There's an abundance of fresh fruits, breads, and yogurt to satisfy every palate.
While the resort is somewhat isolated, it's a self-contained paradise. Be aware that prices for rooms, restaurants, and drinks are comparable to US rates, which is higher than the local average. However, the quality of the experience fully justifies the cost.
From the luxurious rooms to the impeccable service, everything about this resort exudes excellence. If you're looking for a high-end getaway in southern Sri Lanka, the Weligama Bay Marriott Resort delivers an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for those seeking a luxurious escape.
