The room was nice but I have stayed at much better locations.
Pros:

I thought it was clean and I like the room and the lobby. The staff seemed very nice. Most of the breakfast was good.

Cons:

No pool, Also, when I made the reservation through booking, I was told they put my request for a bathtub in. When I got to the hotel, I was informed that there was no tub. Also, calling to let them know I would check in later was a act of congress with having to dial different numbers because one rep did not have all the reservation info or another rep did not have another type of info. There are no tubs at this location and they should say that I feel. I would have requested another location, had I known. Parking was no fun either and this location is just a hop, skip, and a jump from skid row. The buffet was not as good as most other Marriott Residence Inns I have stayed at,. Eggs were pourable eggs and tasteless, bananas ran out and it was difficult to get in the little nook where the waffle iron was. They only had fat-free milk which tasted funny. Overall, it was okay but could be much better.

Horrible I witness 5 other people arguing with valet about parking the moment you get out your car they ambush you
Pros:

The room

Cons:

The valet people was rude approach us about paying $42 per day or leave went inside to check in lady then said $100 card won’t be charged for hotel key I told her what valet said she said he’s wrong it’s $50 and my car got lost at a garage at my daughter graduation police found it the next morning no refund I took a picture of the valet sign and website it only says valet parking nothing about $50 per day to park nor the $42 that the valet said was the price the moment you get out your car

Horrible
Pros:

Looks were deceiving

Cons:

The fact that it was 400$ for one night and it was no parking has to find parking or pay 50 for valet was the first car for valet the man was all over took the 2 cars that was after me had to wait on him the front desk staff was rude the night when I checked in and in the morning when I checked out. When going to room the door was open upon arriving there was no toiletries or anything in the bathroom. The pull out bed had no sheets or blankets not on the bed or in the closet nothing i literally couldn’t wait to get up and check out! Would never book there again!

Nice and Convenient
Pros:

Very nice hotel, clean and well stocked. Breakfast staff were great. Lots of menu items to choose from. Hotel Staff were mostly great, one desk person was not helpful at all but Lu was great and went out of her way to help and accommodate my changes. I was very disappointed this is the John Hopkins Hotel but one more than one date I was charged double saying the John Hopkins Rate was not available even though I was already there staying and a "titanium member." And parking was $50 per day...excessive given downtown parking is free on Sunday.

Perfect stay
Pros:

Everything was perfect Management and Staff were pleasant and friendly. My room was clean. Food in the restaurant was wonderful. I stayed in this hotel to be close to my husband who had surgery to remove throat cancer. It meant so much to me to have such a wonderful enviorment to come back to everynight. The only suggestion I have is to upgrade what you provide in the rooms for coffee. Dried creamer is horrible. Or have coffee by registration for guests in the evening with creamer /milk. Please let the Manger know how much their kindness meant to me. Pam Doernbach room 1104

If you need a handicap room, be sure you can handle the low toilets.
Pros:

The hotel and staff overall was very good.
My problem was with the toilets in the “handicapped” hotel room and in the downstairs restrooms. The toilets were too low and dangerous for me. Yes, there were railings, but the toilet height made it difficult to get up and get into my wheelchair.

Nice accommodations, friendly and professionsl staff, short walk/drive to Johns Hopkins
Pros:

Excellent experience - the suite is very nice, and cleaned or refreshed often, and the staff is friendly and very professional.
Mylynn Jones at the front desk was wonderful, always helpful and friendly, moving us to a handicapped suite when one became available, and helping us move. My husband greatly appreciated the new suite.
Thank you Mylynn!
