Very nice hotel, clean and well stocked. Breakfast staff were great. Lots of menu items to choose from. Hotel Staff were mostly great, one desk person was not helpful at all but Lu was great and went out of her way to help and accommodate my changes. I was very disappointed this is the John Hopkins Hotel but one more than one date I was charged double saying the John Hopkins Rate was not available even though I was already there staying and a "titanium member." And parking was $50 per day...excessive given downtown parking is free on Sunday.
Everything was perfect Management and Staff were pleasant and friendly. My room was clean. Food in the restaurant was wonderful. I stayed in this hotel to be close to my husband who had surgery to remove throat cancer. It meant so much to me to have such a wonderful enviorment to come back to everynight. The only suggestion I have is to upgrade what you provide in the rooms for coffee. Dried creamer is horrible. Or have coffee by registration for guests in the evening with creamer /milk. Please let the Manger know how much their kindness meant to me. Pam Doernbach room 1104
Beautiful hotel with nice amenities and friendly staff.
The hotel and staff overall was very good.
My problem was with the toilets in the “handicapped” hotel room and in the downstairs restrooms. The toilets were too low and dangerous for me. Yes, there were railings, but the toilet height made it difficult to get up and get into my wheelchair.

Nice size room, very comfortable.
Breakfast could have been better.
Excellent experience - the suite is very nice, and cleaned or refreshed often, and the staff is friendly and very professional.
Mylynn Jones at the front desk was wonderful, always helpful and friendly, moving us to a handicapped suite when one became available, and helping us move. My husband greatly appreciated the new suite.
Thank you Mylynn!
It was an unforgetable for us.
The staff are courteous everytime we went to ate our breakfast with my Wife most especially Ms. Amber, she greet every client, with smile despite she was too very. The rooms are well maintained, the cleaners regularly checked and changed the linens together with the towels.
I love everything the rooms the restaurant inside there breakfast is good and fresh ‘
My experience at the Residence Inn (Johns Hopkins Medical Campus) was sensational, due to the exceptional customer service/hospitality by Ms. Mylynn. She was simply an amazing host who went above and beyond and far exceeded our expectations. Often times guests tend to focus on what lodging amenities are being offered, but in this case Mylynn was truly the difference with the accommodations and exceptional service, which in our view was the true total package.

Paris checked us in. She was very nice very professional. I knew after check in everything else was going to be great.
Nothing
This should be a solid 5 but Anwar(?) got it downgraded. I almost brought it to a 3 star but there are fairly solid reasons not to.
PROS

Very nice gentleman! The kind of nice that you know he's always nice, and not just nice because he has to be nice. He's probably nice when it's sleeting out and he has to walk 5 city blocks to get your car kind of nice. He earned his $10 tip.
Bartender in the penthouse restaurant. Mad at myself for not writing down his name! He was basically the only person there since it had just opened for the evening. Super friendly and helpful. Oh and if you plan to come for the menu items that's on the online menu, don't. That thing hasn't been updated. Most of the seafood items are gone. I wanted the crab dip. Gone. Another patron came in not long after me. Same thing. Different item, and also gone.
Come early if you want to sit near the end of the space to get the penthouse view, otherwise you'll get the huge-industrial-data-center-rooftop view which covers most of the restaurant. I honestly don't think it's fair to call it a penthouse restaurant when 80% of the view isn't what most people would want.
Front Desk
Mixed due to having to bounce between the 2 registers just to check into 2 rooms. I still don't get that but they were nice.
Bathroom
Very nice. Definitely need to check the water flow in the shower. Super low. Minor issue with the ceiling just above the shower head. Looks like someone tried to fix a leak and didn't sand properly before repainting. Probably unnoticeable to most--rust on one of the screws mounting the soap dish.
The shower door is the glass half door thing which I don't really like. I wonder if leaks have happened because of that. Otherwise I really liked the bathrooms.
Kitchen fairly well stocked.
Will be back when we come to John's Hopkins again.
CONS
Anwar (?) - Valet
He is in the wrong profession. I don't quite know what would fit him better but not one where people entrust their cars to you. Very harsh and abrasive. As he was walking around the car to hand it off, I told him that there's no damage because it's new. Immediately he yelled "You don't tell me there's no damage, I tell YOU there's no damage!" What?? Unacceptable. Am I'm paying for this mistreatment??
Location
I was told I had to vacant the hotel on my wedding day . Even after I spoke with facility to extend checkout time for both of my rooms on my wedding day was very upsetting .all my wedding party trying to get dress in one room and I book 3 suite.
