This hotel is an assortment of old terraced houses, e.g., the reception is someone’s old front room, the restaurant is an assortment of rooms where staff visited infrequently to collect orders, etc. it doesn’t work at all.
We were also offered a room which, Ito get there, we had to walk back out the front door, down the street to the main road, and walk about four doors up to another section of terraced buildings on a completely different street, up three floors, the last of which was a twisting narrow and entirely impractical entry to an attic room which wasn’t big enough for one never mind two people. We politely declined this room, and were given room (after a 30 minute wait, whilst the staff whispered and argued about what to do) this other room was small, located next door o the fire escape it looked like it should have been a small storage space, it had a pitched roof on one side which meant the room wasn’t at all functional as a space to move around in.
The corridors (knocked through from one building to the next, are hideous and I’m sure dangerous if you have more than two people leaving in a hurry.
The shower head leaked and dripped loudly all night. The food was very average. We had a couple of cocktails which were nice, but excessively priced.
We’ll return to Bath, but never to this hotel.

Amazing location, lovely room, great little extras like the minibar drinks. Very friendly staff and a very decent price!
The hotel was really good and well decorated. The room was very nice. The position was great next to Bath Abbey.
We Stayed 2 nights. We arrived the room was great nice and clean. Got up early and went to Badmington and got back at 6.30pm exhausted expecting our room to have been cleaned and made up. No one had been in bed still unmade cups dirty. Towels wet.
The reception just apologised and said nothing he could do. Later I saw the concierge who while we went to dinner had the bed made up and put towels in the bathroom. Not good enough after paying £535 for our stay.
Fantastic location and we can’t speak highly enough of the staff we encountered.
We were told about being upgraded (amazing!) upon our arrival. When we were shown the room we were told about the stocked mini bar (it wasn’t) and the robes (there weren’t any). Also, the eggs Benedict for breakfast were cold and undercooked.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely but went cold quickly.
Bit of a long trek to the room
Todo: la amabilidad del personal, la decoración, el desayuno, la localización...
Hicieron obras en la habitación de abajo la última mañana de nuestra estancia y no nos avisaron por las posibles molestias que el ruido pudiera ocasionar.
Everything
super location, 2 minutes walk from central area. Very friendly staff who took our bags early (we arrived before check in was possible) - but then they took bags up to the room for us once it was ready. nice touch. The room was fine and the whole ambiance of the place was very nicely done. Lovely old buildings, but not at all tired inside. The bar was great. We didn't sample breakfast
The hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location.
Our room was darker than I like, but otherwise wonderful.
It was a perfect location for all things to see in the city
Lovely bedrooms , food was very good and reasonable.
All staff were friendly and helpful
