The lobby stinks. There's something wrong with the smell in the lobby. The staff are great. The first room was supposed to have a terrace that was blocked so I was moved. It's expensive for the size of the room and the amenities. I basically slept there but did not want to hang around the hotel.

WOW! The vibe of the hotel is off the charts. Staff are super friendly, they all make you feel comfortable being there, and Rahela from reception went above and beyond to make us feel special as it was my partners birthday... champagne in the room, discount for spa, nothing was too hard no matter how demanding our requests were...
The hotel is just so beautiful. We were stunned by the depth of thought put into creating this whole space, and on top of that everything has a spiritual meaning (they also do sound healing sessions, reiki..you name it). We tried Origin Pool and mud caves in spa and experience in the pool was on a soul level. Me and my partner went through so many emotions, it was quite healing.
I have seen other people's reviews and they mentioned it is not really family friendly hotel and if you do the research you will understand what you're booking (as things are quite obvious on their website) and that this is a perfect escape for couples - nothing wrong with it, we absolutely loved it. It just like any other adults only resort you would go to but with a twist.
We will be back to hotel for sure!
Things I would highlight as the best: interior is stunning + their Jurema terrace, perfect for art lovers as they have lots of artwork from famous artists, DAMU spa (Origin pool), food in the restaurant, place is fully instagramable, staff super friendly, clean and tidy everywhere, fast WiFi, they have DJ on weekends...and so much more.
I had wonderful stay at the mandrake. the staff were friendly and welcoming especially Marlon who showed us the room , the room was clean comfortable , and the facilities were excellent. the location was also very convenient. I would definitely stay again .
