Overall comfortable stay, super friendly staff and great location
Pros:

The staff were super friendly and personable. Also great to have a private car spot included. Pool was great way to end the day. Great location being just outside of the main st but still close enough to easily walk there.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little dated.

A tranquil, clean, beautifully designed hotel. Something for everyone to enjoy including free bikes!
Pros:

The staff at The Bower are so incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem. The beds are exceptionally comfy and the outdoor pool is stunning. Would absolutely stay here again.

Cons:

I only noticed when I was leaving that there was a Spa on site. It might be good to have a Spa menu in the rooms - perhaps they did and I just missed it though :)

Great location, spacious rooms, amazing pool!

Cons:

Bed mattress was either old and worn, or just too soft. Shower tray bad design, bathroom leaked.

Very enjoyable .
Pros:

Tastefully decorated room and bathroom with quality bedlinen and bathroom products. Lovely swimming pool area. Reasonable location for getting into town or the beach and the grocery store.

Cons:

The bicycles were in need of replacement. A bit more storage area in the rooms would have been good. By the main road but not noisy at night.

Enjoyed it, great location and amenities
Pros:

Modern, clean and great location.
Loved the bike hire too!

Cons:

found the manager to be a little rude, she seemed like the doesn’t like her job and it’s a task when you ask her any questions.

Found the other staff all to be lovely.
