Pipers Cove - Runaway Bay

This property is under construction, so maybe it was not the best time to visit. It was noisy all day from 9AM-5PM. Hopefully after the construction is done, it will be the normal peaceful and quiet place again. The pool was also out of service. I was not aware of the construction or the pool being out of service, and was not notified of this before my arrival.

Piper's Cove was an excellent choice for our vacation. The staff was helpful, friendly, and courteous. We would love to return and enjoy another stay at Pipers Cove.

I like the villa type setting, the beautiful landscape, beach and pool settings. Also the staffs are very accommodating and friendly. I will definitely be visiting this resort again.

Upon arrival my reservations could not be found .I was eventually placed in a room on 1st fl that was moldy with a broken toilet handle and extremely outdated style. I was also told i should not expect to check it at 2pm even though reservations stated 2...

I had to cancel my reservation because my son got into a little accident so i had to stay back to help him. I was suppose to check in Saturday at 2:00,pm and i called expedia 1:25 to do the cancelation and they said i can only get a half of my money back because it's not within that 24 hrs time frame. This is a very big rip off and i would not recommend no one to book with them if they're gonna treat customers with emergencies like this. Highway robber them. Both Pipers cove and expedus is no good. Expedia won't be getting no more business from me and neither does Pipers Cove.

Great place at an affordable price

The view at the pool and the beach at the back of the property is beautiful and soothing.The staff was pleasant and helpful.

The patio had the air conditioner dripping water all over the furniture.

If you stay here, try to stay in one of the one bedroom apartments. They're much bigger than the studios and are not much more. We originally booked a studio but upgraded when we were there. This hotel is a decent budget hotel. The staff is really nice (manager even drove us around a couple of times- we paid him for this). The rooms are ok (you get what you pay for) and the beach is ok here, but this is a good option if you're on a budget and/or won't spend a lot time at a hotel. We stayed here because we had a nearby wedding and weren't going to spend a lot of time at the hotel.
