Pleasant but not overwhelming!
Pros:

Pleasant hotel well located in Buckingham. Good parking and centrally located. Staff were pleasant and the room was perfectly clean and comfortable. It was not a boutique experience and felt a little corporate. Breakfast was ok but not amazing… for example the coffee machine wasn’t working, but there wasn’t anyone there to help or give you an adjustable, just a notice!

Cons:

At breakfast there was a lack of initial service with no greeting or support with the buffet. Food was fine though and when a member of Staff did appear they were helpful. There was not the sense of attention to guests that you get in some hotels and that was a shame as staff were lovely when they did assist.

One of the rooms heating did not work, had to move to a different floor which was not great for the pensioners, shower was dripping all night

Will stay again but had difficulty in finding any manager to help with issues

Good location comfy room

Cons:

very understaffed the girl on reception was new and couldn’t get hold of her manager for a long time whilst other members of our party were trying to get a light bulb changed and to see why heating wasn’t working in another room

Great large and comfortable room at a fair price
Pros:

Good location, large room, good parking, good price, booked for one night stayed an extra night because we were so impressed 🤩

Cons:

Bar was poor, restaurant was empty, asked for the fire to be lit in the bar as it was cold, but told no way as it was just after 9pm, not impressed!

Wobder Christmas stay
Pros:

Stayed over Christmas which i was concerned about. Thought i may feel homesick. They made me so welcome. I was even given a Christmas gift and card. Extremely thoughtful

Pros:

Excellent facilities. Loved the breakfast!

Cons:

the parking is limited but there's nothing anyone can do so it's not a problem. There is an overspill carpark but that gets busy too.

The rooms were nice and spacious. The staff were friendly.
Pros:

We did not have breakfast.

Cons:

We were surprised that we were asked for a £50 deposit against damages. When we stayed at Villiers a few months ago and were not required to do this.

Do not stay!
Pros:

Reception staff were friendly

Cons:

Awful experience, room was not cleaned from previous people and overall cleanliness was not there. Loud Aircon and cleaner woke us out of our sleep!

Another good stay
Pros:

Room only for one night.
Great place to stay.
I regularly stay in Buckingham and will not stay anywhere else. I have tried other places to stay, I only go to the Villiers now.

Cons:

I did not see any of the familiar faces members of staff this time
