Great Location for Silverstone GP - Nice bathroom, Friendly staff & Spacious room
Was on the expensive side for one day but worth it!
The staff were amazing and very helpful. The facilities were really nice, free parking included - bathroom and bath were massive! Lovely rituals toiletries included.
The room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, the staff were really helpful when I notified them but it wasn't rectified. The bed was a super king-size by two twins pushed together but the mattresses were different and this made is weird to sleep in together.
2 night stay, booked through travelzoo. The deal included tickets to bletchley park which made this attractive. Good quality hotel. Friendly staff. Only had breakfast here, which was included. Good quality, but don't ask for extras as you will pay through the nose for them. Overall a very pleasant stay.
The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They even changed our suite to make it more accessible. The suite itself was comfortable and the food was excellent.
Sammy at the check in desk is an outstanding member of staff. Her qualities of customer care and welcoming nature are second to none. The other member of staff we met was CJ at breakfast. A real gentleman and a pleasure to talk to. The hotel was ideally located and it has a really nice vibe.

The property was in a good location
For the price paid without breakfast included, it felt out dated in areas and didn’t have any leisure facilities. Whilst in a city centre I still feel it was overpriced.
Lovely, friendly staff and bar and restaurant areas very pleasant.
Please could the breakfast have chopped fresh fruit and berries. It is difficult to slice apples and pears with cutlery.

Very dated. Shower over bath, which was very high and difficult to climb into for an elderly person .
Sink didn’t drain properly.
No spare toilet roll .

Central location, heritage building, helpful staff.
Dated fittings such as stained carpet, dark grouting in the bathroom, a dripping shower head etc. The kettle area was quite dusty. The bar restaurant was supposed to close at 9:30pm, but people continued talking loudly downstairs making it impossible to sleep.

Central location, attractive buildings, helpful staff, good food.
1. Our room had only an over-bath shower with no additional hand piece. Although there were grab handles on the edge of the bath (knee-high) there were none wall-fixed at shoulder height - unsafe for me age 85!
2. The room faced south and was hot. Fan provided but no air-con.
3. We needed a taxi to travel to a wedding venue 5 miles away. The reception desk recommended a firm which charged £25 one way. When we phoned the the firm for the return trip none were available for an hour. We phoned another firm, the taxi came promptly and charged £7!!

No air conditioning,bathroom in need of updating.
We had a lovely 2 night stay at this cosy friendly hotel. It was a great deal that included breakfast and £30pp towards dinner. Our room was clean and comfortable. We never worked out the light switches which were super complicated but that was probably us. Shower over the bath was a little challenging to get in and those with mobility issues would struggle. Rituals toiletries were a treat. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Steak in the restaurant on Friday night was delicious! Great location to walk into Buckingham and only 20 mins drive to Bletchley Park.
