Conveniently located. Central to the purpose of our trip.
The Mount Peyton is in desperate need of a refresh in the rooms. An upgrade is long overdue.

The location was why we stayed there…
The pillows were very thin.. only two pillows per bed… as we were going to sleep we were waken by a worker knocking on the door bringing extra pillows and a few mins after the phone rang .. I am guessing it was for the same reason… that would have been fine but it wasn’t our room who ordered extra pillows… it was a uneasy feeling someone knocked on your door and saying maintenance man… by the time we woke up and grabbed clothes to put on the person was gone and the pillows were by the door….also there are no mini fridge in the room….
The location was about it and that we could get a room on short notice bit nothing else was good.
We had to book last minute due to needing to be close to the hospital, location was great and the staff were wonderful
However the room was not clean , sheets had holes in them there was actual dirt all behind the bed where the headboard is and bathroom wasn't clean it didn't give you a very good feeling but we were so overwhelmed already due to a family member being in icu that we just had to take it
The rooms were clean, spacious and updated.
Guest services advised that the restaurant was opened until 9pm. My partner and I showed up at 7:56pm and greeted with 3 wait staff looking at us and one greeted us with “Yes?” And then we were told the kitchen was closed at 8pm and the bar usually had the kitchen pub food on until 9pm but not on Monday’s. All the guest information slip (photo attached) states that the kitchen closes at 9pm. So either the information has to be updated or there’s miscommunication between staff. Either option doesn’t paint a good look on staff.
It was all good for the overnight trip
Clean and very quiet
Needs complete renovations.
We booked via Expedia for a pet friendly room. The room was in dire need of a whole makeover. The pillows should have been tossed years ago. No fridge in our room because it was pet friendly. We could get one for an added cost of $60.00
Upon arrival the front desk staff was rude and did not listen when I answered her questions.
I would not recommend staying here unless you are desperate.
Because we used the app to book apparently we are placed in a motel shaped building on the other side of the trans canada highway 1. they check me in mask where elevators are as i am level3 they don’t answer i go up with all my luggage on the stairs no level 3 i come back and they just stare at me… finally i ask where am i to go he just says across the high you booked on line… i would have NEVER figured out i had to get back in a cab go across 4 lanes of a highway and around to a dark area. Very strange. not easy and staff was of zero help. paper thin walls woke up to neighbours alarms 6 times very clearly and bathroom toilet water loud and running
