Amazing staff, dinner(especially kotthu) and cozy and comfortable villa.
All staff make my trip to sigiriya unforgettable.

Struttura semplice ma pulita, immersa nella jungla quindi a pieno contatto con la natura. Il personale molto cortese e disponibile.

Really nice bungalows with very strong AC. The garden has a really nice view of Sigiriya rock. Good breakfast included, they also offer a decent buffet dinner.

Sigiriya Rock is about a 15 minute walk, whereas the main village area is a bit further. After visiting Sigiriya in the morning, we decided at the very last minute to catch the train from Habarana station (30 min drive from Sigiriya) to Colombo. We were struggling to contact a tuk-tuk driver with so little notice, so one of the employees offered to drive us in the hotel van, since he was already dropping off staff members in that direction. 10/10 service, very thankful.

Nous avons passé un super séjour, toute l'équipe est aux petits soins, l'endroit est calme et très bien situé, nous avons extrement bien mangé, Donald nous a conduit et s'est toujours montré très disponible, il nous a également organise l'après midi safari éléphant qui a été une superbe expérience ! Merci pour tout !!

非常に感じの良いオーナーで対応よく、無料の朝食付きが良かったです。買い物や外食しに行くには遠い場所にあります。宿泊した日が大雨と雷で夜中に電源が落ち、エアコンも電気も点かず携帯電話の灯りで過ごしたのがきつかったです。

Likes - Close to Nature, bird life, greenery.

Dislikes - No hot water for morning showers, Wi-fi very very weak (almost not working), Not adequate lighting in the room if you are a book reader, towels not changed everyday (Could get if asked - Not Sure), Basic breakfast and same menu everyday (asking for 3rd half fry egg, got reminded only 2 eggs allowed), staff with limited English language skills

Lovely staff and friendly owner. Who drove us to Lion rock early in the morning. Lovely breakfast rotis and eggs followed by toast and butter and jam them fruit and fruit juice. Bungalows were clean and tidy.

Das Personal ist einfach klasse. So lieb, und hilfsbereit. Sie organisieren auch tolle Ausflüge und helfen bei der Weiterfahrt.
Die Lage ist der hammer. Direkter Blick auf den lion's rock beim Frühstück. Was will man mehr. Wir konnten von unserer Terrasse aus direkt bunte Vögel und Affen sehen.

Hyggeligt sted med meget venligt personale og lækker Rice and curry samt morgenmad. Værelset var utrolig fugtigt.
Ligger lidt afsides men ellers fin beliggenhed ift. seværdigheder.

Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkünfte haben alles nötige, sind sauber, liegen sehr ruhig aber zentral. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und besonders lecker. Jederzeit wieder.

Très pittoresque de se retrouver dans la nature. Un accueil très chaleureux. La chambre est simple mais bien décorée et propre avec une moustiquaire. Dîner excellent et un service exemplaire. Petit déjeuner copieux dehors entourés de petits écureuils. Aucune critique si ce n est un petit frigo serait bienvenu!

Towels need updating, otherwise, service and location were excellent! Would definitely recommend. Plus for driver accommodations.

I wanted to see Sigiriya Rock. This villa is nice to stay & visit it.

Nette Anlage mit schönem Garten. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer im ersten Stock des Neubaus. In den Villas an sich war der Geruch zu seltsam. Bad relativ einfach. Essen in Ordnung

Such warmth and hospitable service throughout our one night at Melrose Villa. The room was recently decorated and in excellent condition. Would highly recommend.

A really good budget accommodation option. Rooms are large and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Good at dinner was great, breakfast OK. A very relaxed vibe.
