We had the most wonderful and pleasant stay in this beautifully decorated hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Both the manager and the owner were attentive to the guests needs and comfort -checking on us few times, which was wonderful. The location in close proximity to the beach with amazing views which is another highlight. We definitely will return back when we are back in Sri Lanka.

Pros:

Очень уютный, чистый и красивый отель. Чувствуешь себя как дома. Персонал невероятно приветливый . Инду помогает в любых вопросах 24/7. Кухня отменная с огромными порциями и невысокой ценой. Вид с любой точки прекрасен, песчаный пляж без волн в 2 минутах . Собственный бассейн с охлаждающей приятной водой! Жили неделю с двумя детьми , номер просторный для семьи с детьми. Есть интернет и парковка . Если искать недостатки то их можно найти даже в очень дорогом отеле , мы отдыхали , наслаждались отдыхом , гостеприимными людьми, красотой вокруг!!! Всем рекомендуем !!!

Schönes Hotel mit tollen Mitarbeitern und leckerem Essen
Pros:

Die Unterkunft war architektonisch interessant. Haben wir so nicht nochmal gesehen auf unsere 1-monatigen Sri Lanka Reise. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und man hat uns geholfen Tagestrips zu vereinbaren. Selbst Yoga inklusive Lehrer wird jeden Morgen angeboten.
Wir waren mit unserer 3-jährigen Tochter dort, die ebenfalls viel Spaß hatte und die Zeit in Culture Resort sehr genoss.

Nice hotel in a quieter beachside town
Pros:

Great location and wonderful views. Pool is very nice and views from restaurant are gorgeous. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are large and bed is comfortable and protected with mosquito net. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Cons:

The bathroom is very small and most of the space wasted on a scratched bath tub that would be rarely used in a double room. This makes it difficult for taller people to use the toilet. Price was quite high compared to similar properties.

Pros:

Culture Resort is a truly memorable place. What we loved most was the surroundings – peaceful, green, with very little traffic, perfect for real rest and slowing down. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the manager Indu is absolutely outstanding. She was always available, caring and attentive, and even after we had already left the hotel she continued to check on us and make sure everything was fine.

The breakfasts were excellent – fresh, varied and prepared with great care. The beach is another highlight: wild, beautiful, with turtles swimming freely close to the shore – a rare and special experience.

A special mention goes to Charik, with whom we practiced yoga every morning, and who also played great music in the café, creating a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere throughout the day.

The architecture of the resort is also worth highlighting – thoughtfully designed, harmonious with nature, and aesthetically beautiful. It adds a lot to the calm, inspiring character of the place.

This is a resort with soul, run by people who genuinely care about their guests. We would love to return.

Все было отлично!
Pros:

В номере было чисто, убирались каждый день, меняли полотенца, есть холодильник и кондиционер. В целом отличный отель. Дают маски и пляжные полотенца. Мы ходили на пляжи на другую сторону деревушки, потому что нам там показалось уютнее. На ближайшем пляже я увидела, как одна из многочисленных бегающих там собачек делает свои дела прямо в песочек, и у меня остался осадочек, как-то больше не захотелось там купаться и загорать...
Все очень размеренно и неторопливо, как и везде на Шри-Ланке, так что на завтраке надо будет подождать подачу блюд. Два вида завтрака, мы брали все время европейский, потому что местный для нас оказался слишком аутентичным.
Есть йога по утрам, кстати, очень даже хорошая, но совсем не для новичков, я бы сказала, т.е. просто расслабиться не получится. Но мне было самое то, хотя все полтора часа для меня было тяжеловато, я уходила пораньше.
Кстати, на другом конце деревушки, прямо у бара V8 есть пляж, где вы можете поплавать с черепахами. Совершенно бесплатно. Об этом никто не говорит и предлагает услуги платных гидов, которые отведут вас в секретные места, где есть черепахи. Мы не знали, и взяли гида, но в целом я не жалею, потому что он показал как кормить этих черепашек и плавал все время рядом с нами.
Есть единственная на всю деревушку школа серфинга, которую мы и посещали.

Très bel hôtel au style chic et soigné, situé du côté de Matara.
Chambre spacieuse, confortable et très agréable, avec une bonne literie et une belle salle de bain.
Cadre calme et esthétique, propice à la détente.
Matériel de snorkeling (masques et tubas) prêté gratuitement, ce qui est un vrai plus pour profiter de la région.
Très bonne surprise lors du premier petit-déjeuner avec un buffet varié et de grande qualité (omelettes, saucisses, pancakes excellents).
Qualité des plats globalement bonne, bien cuisinés et savoureux.

Cons:

Organisation de la restauration perfectible.
Forte différence entre les deux petits-déjeuners : le second était beaucoup plus simple et décevant par rapport au premier.
Choix limité et peu adapté à nos habitudes au petit-déjeuner (fruits basiques, pois chiches).
Temps d’attente assez longs pour les repas, avec des plats parfois indisponibles malgré leur présence sur la carte.
Service non synchronisé : les plats arrivent en décalé, ce qui empêche de manger en même temps.
Quantités parfois un peu justes, notamment pour les accompagnements comme les frites.

Pros:

L’hotel è in una splendida posizione, appena fuori dal centro caotico , raggiungibile comunque in pochi minuti, anche grazie alle biciclette gratuite, davvero un piacevole confort! Ha poi un’architettura raffinata ed elegante, come tutto il personale: grazie a Indi sempre Gentile e attenta a ogni nostra esigenza, e un particolare ringraziamento a Charaka, il maestro di yoga mattutino ( anche le lezioni sono gratis, un grande dono dell hotel!) insomma siamo stati molto bene e ci siamo proprio rilassati, anche perché la camera era molto grande, arredata con gusto e dalla vista splendida! Altamente raccomandato!

Für ein zwei Tage voll ok, der Strand ist in 2 Minuten erreicht, Schildkröten sieht man dort nahe zu 100%ig, essen ist o

Die Unterkunft ist toll gelegen und hat eine schattigen Pool. Die Räumlichkeiten haben alles was man braucht, das Restaurant auf dem Dach ist sehr nett wie auch alle Mitarbeiter vom Hotel

Cons:

- das Badezimmer: auf der Toilette kann ich leider fast nicht sitzen, da die Dusche direkt davor gebaut wurde
- Polhena ist leider zu einem „Partyort“ geworden. Bis 0130 Uhr kam sehr laute Musik vom nahem Strand

Pros:

La atencion de los trabajadores inmejorables. El desayuno es muy completo y bueno. Las habitaciones estan genial, totalmente equipadas. La ubicacion perfecta para descansar y al mismo tiempo estar cerca de playas y excursiones. Repetiríamos sin duda.
