Pros:

Da ich spontan wegen eines Wasserschadens umgebucht wurde, kann ich das nichts beurteilen.

Cons:

Ich wurde, so ca. 30 min von der Unterkunft und dem Check-In weg angerufen, dass es einen Wasserschaden gäbe und man mich umgebucht hätte in ein anderes Hotel. Ich hatte dieses Hotel gezielt ausgesucht, weil es fußläufig zum botanischen Garten liegt und ich dort nachmittags auf einer Hochzeit eingeladen war. Außerdem hatte mich der frühe Checkin überzeugt, dass ich mir vor der Veranstaltung noch umziehen könnte. Da ich dann auf ein Hotel am andern Ende der Stadt gebucht wurde, kamen also zu meinen Hotelkosten noch Zeitverlust für die weitere Anreise und 2x Uber Fahrten (zur Location hin und zurück) dazu, die ich finanziell auch nicht erwartet hatte, als ich dieses Hotel gebucht habe. Bei dem neuen Hotel zum Check in angekommen, sagt man mir, dass mein Zimmer erst in 90 min fertig wäre, weil das deren normale Ankunftszeit ist, war natürlich extra blöd, weil das so nicht eingeplant war in meinem Zeitplan.
Dass in einem Hotel mal was kaputt geht, versteh ich total, aber wie hier damit umgegangen wurde, hat mir den ganzen Tag versaut, ich kam zur spät zur Hochzeit, hatte mehr Aufwand sowohl an Zeit als auch an Geld und man hat sich auch einfach nie wieder bei mir gemeldet. Da geht mehr.

Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Das geräumige Zimmer und die Ruhe. Außerdem die Lage.

Cons:

Der Parkplatz ist eine Zumutung. Die Zufahrt führt unter dem EG durch, wobei der Wagen aufsetzte. Dass es kein Frühstück gab, erfuhr ich erst vor Ort. Das Treppenhaus ist recht eng. Es gibt keinen Aufzug. Die Böden und das Bad waren nicht gereinigt. Der Halter für den Toilettenpapierhalter lag neben der Toilette.

Hotel im Altbau der Südstadt
Pros:

Hotel in schönen Altbau mitten in der Südstadt, ruhig , tolle Lage, gute Matratze , Einzelzimmer relativ geräumig , alles recht sauber , kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit im Hinterhof . Problemloses einchecken, mit zugeschickten Code per SMS.

Cons:

Dusche bleibt kalt ! Auch nach längerem laufen lassen „sportlicher“ Start in den Tag.. Duschvorhang riecht muffig. Sofa mit schwarzem Spuren . Wasserkocher ohne Tee Beutel . Frühstück gibt es nicht.

Kleines, nettes Hotel mit Altbau-Charme und Nähe zum Poppelsdorfer Schloss
Pros:

Der Check-In zum Hotel läuft vollkommen kontaktlos. Die Zugangsdaten wurden mir über SMS versendet.
Das WLAN war top.
Mein Zimmer in den Hof war sehr ruhig.
Das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.
Die Straße hat durch die vielen alten Häusern in der Nachbarschaft einen besonderen Flair.

Cons:

Es wird kein Frühstück im Hotel angeboten.
Auf meinem Zimmer gab es zwar einen Wasserkocher, jedoch keinen Tee oder Kaffee.
Es gibt Zimmer in oberen Geschossen, aber keinen Fahrstuhl.
