Pros:

For me, Rishikesh is not an easy city. In February, at least during the two weeks I was there, it is cold and wet. The hotels are not heated and my room had no windows so it felt a bit like being in a dungeon. But I know that I am very lucky to have been born in Canada and I know that I can not use Canadian standards to judge accommodation in India. I would not stay there again but I also would likely not go back to Rishikesh again. I was happy to leave.
