Charming hotel in Chinon
Pros:

Charming hotel in Chinon. Beautiful exterior with a profusion of plants. Breakfast is a beautiful feast by a huge fireplace. Hotel Diderot is located in an idyllic location and easy walk to town.

Pros:

En general me parece que el Hotel cumple con todas las expectativas y las supera. Edificacion antigua restaurada, muy comoda, como vivir la experiencia de la Francias antigua pero con las comodidades de hoy. El desatuno muy bueno y muy bien atendido. Los panes exquisitos! Muy bien ubicado en el pueblo, caminando a todas partes, muy central pero a la vez muy tranquilo!

Unique hotel!
Pros:

We have stayed here several times over the years and have always received a warm welcome. The location is ideal when breaking a journey through France from Calais. The hotel is a bit quirky, very clean and the breakfasts are really good. We highly recommend!

Pros:

Cerca del centro de Chinon. Casa muy bonita y acogedora, incluso bajo la lluvia.

Cons:

Escaleras estrechas. Aparcamiento (de pago). No era fácil llegar, pero puede haber sido un problema con el navegador.

le petit dejeuner (un peu cher ) mais excellent+++
le magnifique hotel particulier (ancienne demeure du conservateur des hypotheques de Chinon bcp de charme++

faire payer le parking me parait excessif ( mais il y a le parking municipal à 2 pas)

Tolle Unterkunft mit Fahradparkplatz direkt beim Haus. Wor hatten ein wunderschönes Gartenzimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit einer tollen Auswahl an selbstgemachten Fruchtkonfituren.

Cons:

Das Bett war für uns persönlich unbequem und durchgelegen. Leider gab es nur eine Kissenvariante und die war nichts für uns, da die Kissen sehr dick waren.

Chinon wonderful; le Diderot the prefect place as base.
Pros:

We had a lovely time in Chinon. The tourist office were extremely helpful (and parking is free), and the Chateau, and staff, were super. A brilliant, and evocative castle. We needed a hotel, and asked for Chateau Chenonceaux luxury at cheap chain prices. They sent us to Diderot! Perfect. Great hosts, lovely ambience in our executive grade chalet style room, in the public areas and the gardens; absolutely in the mood. Choette!

Pros:

Magnifique séjour! Le bâtiment était comme une maison de famille, comme on rêve d'en avoir une! :-) L'accueil a été parfait, la chambre très cosy, le petit déjeuner abondant et délicieux, avec fromages et charcuteries régionales, et toutes ces confitures maison!
Et que dire du verre de vin sur la terrasse pleine de fleurs pour se reposer de la visite de la ville?
Ah oui, j'oubliais : localisation parfaite pour arpenter Chinon!

Zuvorkommender Empfang und Betreuung. Feines Französisches Frühstück mit verführerischer Orangen-Konfitüre. Angenehme Sauberkeit. Kleines Schloß mit herrschaftlicher eleganter Möblierung. Zum Wohlfühlen und zum Ausruhen. Parkplatz möglich bei früher Anreise.

Leider kein Fahrstuhl.

Pros:

A very charming hotel in a fantastic location in Chinon. The gentleman who greeted us when we arrived was friendly and hospitable. The refreshments on the lovely terrace was a great start to our stay.
The lady who also greeted us at check in and later during the evening when we had more refreshments on the terrace was exceptionally pleasant and charming, a great asset to such a lovely hotel.
I look forward to returning soon.
