A charming hotel in a quiet location.
Pros:

We have stayed here twice. It is a charming old Hotel within easy walking of the town centre and has private parking (if you get there early enough). It serves a traditional French breakfast with an amazing array of home made jams. Rooms are comfortable, staff are friendly and we would certainly stay there again.

Netter Aufenthalt, aber mit Einschränkungen
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, sehr französisch

Cons:

Ab 21 Uhr werden alle Tore geschlossen, man kann mit Auto oder Fahrrad nicht mehr ein- oder ausfahren. Die Bar ist dann auch geschlossen.

We really enjoyed Hotel Diderot , felt it had everything we needed for an overnight stay , could have stayed longer .
Pros:

Charming traditional French hotel in nice quiet location , conveniently situated to walk to everywhere .
Characterful property with pretty garden terrace area for breakfast / drinks etc
Comfortable bed
Very good bathroom
Nice there is a Bar
Fantastic breakfast , delicious fruit , yogurt , cheese etc , very good bread , croissants and homemade preserves .
Staff excellent

Cons:

Pros:

Central location, easy access to restaurants.
Two rooms linked together for family.
Great parking, best to book.

Cons:

Bar closes early if you fancy a night cap.
I understand, a family run hotel and guests may want to retire early especially if travelling or cycling as many guests were.
However the evening was cut a little short.

Excellent séjour. Hôtel très agréable
Pros:

L’emplacement, le charme, le jardin, l’accueil chaleureux
Les produits locaux du très bon petit déjeuner et les conseils des dames présentes ce jour là

Cons:

Absence climatisation dans la chambre mais c’est un point d’amélioration pas rédhibitoire

Sfeervol hotel met het karakter dat je in Frankrijk verwacht.

Het is een sfeervolle accommodatie op loopafstand van het centrum van Chinon. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Cons:

Door het ontbreken van airconditioning was de kamer erg warm.

Das Hotel ist ruhig und zentral gelegen, aber auch ein einfaches Hotel sollte auf Frische bei ihren Frühstücksprodukten

Das Hotel liegt ruhig und doch sehr zentral. Die Dame an der Rezeption war bei unserer Ankunft die uns bei unserer Ankunft sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war enttäuschend. Der Fruchtsalat war alt, er hatte einen säuerlichen Geschmack und es gab nur Ziegenkäse.
