Everything. The place was beautiful, the owners and staff were delightful.
Breakfast was perfect. The home made jams, the coffee, the apple juice, all was top quality, and served to perfection! A place i would revisit always.
Nice hotel in an old house that has been well converted. The location was good and the breakfast exceptional . Best we had on this trip with lots of homemade jams. Parking was a little odd as they lock the gate at 7pm so either your car is in for the night or if you aren't there yet, you have to park it elsewhere.
The bathroom was in the room. The toilet was in its own little cubicle with no sink. You have to walk around the bed to get to the sink/shower room. Very uncomfortable if someone needs to spend some extra time in there, especially as there was no exhaust fan. I dont know what the other rooms were like and the rest of the hotel was great but I wouldnt stay in that particular room again.

Hard to find- Google led us astray.
Exceptional welcome, we arrived by motorbike and a member of staff came out to us with a block to park on. Stunning gardens and a charming room. The breakfast was nice and very generous. Drinks in the garden terrace was lovely and then only a short walk into beautiful Chinon. Fantastic easy to find location.
The room was delightful, and so French. I loved the whole environment. the garden. small areas. Breakfast was super. I enjoyed sharing a larger table. Super homemade jams. They contacted me as I left my glasses behind. So thoughtful.

Charming hotel in Chinon. Beautiful exterior with a profusion of plants. Breakfast is a beautiful feast by a huge fireplace. Hotel Diderot is located in an idyllic location and easy walk to town.

En general me parece que el Hotel cumple con todas las expectativas y las supera. Edificacion antigua restaurada, muy comoda, como vivir la experiencia de la Francias antigua pero con las comodidades de hoy. El desatuno muy bueno y muy bien atendido. Los panes exquisitos! Muy bien ubicado en el pueblo, caminando a todas partes, muy central pero a la vez muy tranquilo!

We have stayed here several times over the years and have always received a warm welcome. The location is ideal when breaking a journey through France from Calais. The hotel is a bit quirky, very clean and the breakfasts are really good. We highly recommend!
