Lovely cycle-friendly Hotel in Chinon - a short walk from the centre of town.
Pros:

A lovely, comfortable Hotel, with a good welcome for cyclists. Breakfast was lovely with a wide selection for marmalade/jam lovers. There is dedicated space in the courtyard for secure storage of bikes. We were greeted on arrival with a nice cold syrop - perfect after our cycle ride. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

It's difficult to criticize this Hotel - they even provided a bicycle pump - if I have to criticize, I would have preferred a a pump with a pressure gauge - but that's just being fussy.

Pros:

Posizione tranquilla a due passi dal centro di Chinon. Presenza di parcheggio. Bagno ampio.

Cons:

Rapporto qualità prezzo non idoneo. La stanza era vecchia e sgarruppata: mobili vecchi, muffa in bagno, letti scomodi (oltretutto due singoli invece del matrimoniale richiesto). Atmosfera deprimente, per fortuna era per una notte sola. Eravamo nella dépendance e non nell'edificio principale.
Peccato, basterebbe rinnovare un po' e curare meglio i dettagli, perché la location merita.

Vooral goed voor een tussenstop.

Vriendelijke ontvangst.
Leuk terras en mooie tuin.
Leuk kamertje maar wel zeer klein.
Ruim voldoende ontbijt.
Eigen afgesloten parking, maar wel klein, voor een zevental auto's

Cons:

We hadden een piepklein kamertje, te bereiken via een trap. Geen lift aanwezig.
We hadden geen water in de douche.

Séjour très agréable
Pros:

L’accueil, le lieu, la chambre pas très grande mais confortable.
Hôtel situé dans le centre-ville donc on peut laisser la voiture sur place.
Le parking sécurisé (8 euros) mais il y a un grand parking à proximité si on ne veut pas payer.
Le petit -déjeuner : grand choix (avec du fromage de la région) et l’accueil de la dame qui gère les petits-déjeuners.

Cons:

Peut-être que la chambre est un peu petite mais c’est un détail.
A noter également qu’en cas de fortes chaleurs, il n’y a pas de climatisation mais un ventilateur.
La chambre était au 1er étage avec un escalier assez étroit donc peu pratique pour des personnes âgées.

Le charme de la tradition et du patrimoine à Chinon
Pros:

hôtel à taille humaine dans un écrin de verdure, très proche du centre ville. Accueil et service du personnel très sympathique et attentif à nos demandes.
La chambre calme et confortable avec une tapisserie en tissu de très bon goût ; la salle de douche et les toilettes en parfait état.
Le petit déjeuner servi en salle ou sur la terrasse extérieure est très copieux avec des confitures faites localement.
La possibilité de garer notre voiture dans l'enceinte de l'hôtel est très appréciable.
Pour notre prochain séjour à Chinon, nous choisirons cet hôtel.
