Non service from SUN1Durban
Pros:

Got the bed and and bank bed as promised. The place accommodates kids. Not most of the hotels have that option. Well done on that. Near the station. Easily accessible from the station.

Cons:

The staff were very rude. Don't care about the visitors. I saw a lot of people wanting a place to stay. But were forced to leave as they couldn't compromise regarding check inns. The rooms were available but dirty. People had to go for alternative options. If cancellation was possible I was going to do the same. I regret paying upfront. Upon arriving in the room, the carpet was wet. We had no towels and a shower mat. The staff is old and tired. They are not flexible. They are very old school and unfriendly. Pillows are very hard. Linen was not changed daily. There was a time where I went out in the morning and came back after 17:30 and my room was not cleaned. Bed untidy shower not cleaned. Nothing was done literally in the room. I regret booking this place. What a waste of money. The coffee machine was not working. Staff unwilling to help visitors. SUN is a big brand to provide such service. I am highly disappointed.

Cons:

The location is very far from the beaches yet it's been advertised as closer when walking. The level of noise from the other tenants and the bus station. The carpet floor was the worst hence I suffered Sinusitis during the whole stay

It was clean, located in good place. Prices were good. Atmosphere from staff was good. Air conditioner was the best

Remote were not working for both rooms. Coffee there were no teaspoons and coffee mug to make tea/coffee.
