Pros:

Everything seemed broken, damaged or stained; floor, walls, currains, sink, power plugs... but the sheets and towels were clean and the airco worked so I had what I needed for just one night. Value for money was still okay; I didn't pay much and wasn’t expecting much either.
The location is a perfect spot for if you want to take the boat to Surin the next day.

Pros:

Very overpriced for what it is, it’s dirty, run down, full of mosquitos and cockroaches. Only plus was the bed was quite good. It would be fine if it was half the price, because that’s what you’d expect.

Pros:

Low cost cottage right on the river on the jungle. Friendly staff, local people with no English but if you speak a few words of Thai it goes a long way. Beautiful setting. Convenient stop between Ranong and Khaolak on a long distance bike trip.
