Oasis on the edge of busy Nairobi
Pros:

Breakfast in garden covered area was lovely - surrounded by flowers, trees and birds.
The veranda was pleasant place to sit and the lawn well groomed.
Handy for Karen Blixen museum and the Oloolua forest trail.

Cons:

The sausages!
Seemed very ultra processed.
Really nice to see filtered water in glass bottles in the room. But if you needed more water you had to buy single use plastic ones which soon adds up to a lot of waste.

Nice location and well decorated. The bed was comfortable and the shower was spacious and hot.

Cons:

The reception wasn't particularly welcoming or friendly on our 9pm arrival. Unfortunately there was no bug spray or mosquito net in the room so my partner was bitten at night and didn't sleep well. We didn't get to try out the restaurant as we had to leave early to catch a train but the packed breakfast was very poor, a jam sandwich, apple, crisp, boiled egg and only 2 out of 4 of our group got a juice included.

Wonderful relaxing stay to relax and windows after a 10 day safari before a 28 hour trip back to the states.
