ロビーと部屋　特にロビーはカビ臭くて我慢できませんでした。
部屋のコンセントも少なくWIＦＩも繋がらず設備が古過ぎます。

部屋からの眺めは素晴らしかったです。設備は50年以上経っているという事で、それなりに傷んでる感じはありましたが、綺麗に維持されてるなと思いました。大きいホテルなので、大浴場や食堂などへそれなりに距離があるところが難点でしたかね。でもとても良い場所だったので、改装後にまた行きたいと思います。

建物や設備は確かに古く、到着時は廃虚かと驚いたが、古い時代の正しいリゾートホテルといった感じで、往年はさぞかし豪華なホテルだったのだろうと思われる。客の使用エリアは綺麗に整備されていた。部屋もゆったりしており、古いが贅沢な感じの設えで、信じられないほど広い敷地内の芝は綺麗に刈ってあり、植木も手入れされていて花を綺麗に付けていた。大浴場は清潔で気持ちよく、朝食は広い会場で十分な品数が用意されており、ゆったり食事を摂ることができた。スタッフも親切で気持ちよく過ごすことができた。6月から休館とのこと（何年かかるのか、復活があるのかわからないが）で、もっと以前から利用すればよかったと残念に思う。
ただ、朝食ビュッフェは9:30が最終受付とのことだったので初日は9時に入ったが、9:30に撤去するのでそれまでに取るように言われ、食べている最中だったのでデザートを取りに行けなかった。9:30に食事の提供を終える事は予め知っておきたかった。

入館した時、ロビー全体に強烈なカビの臭いがした。
廊下も全体的にカビ臭が漂っていました。
　朝食も大浴場も良かったです。

いわさき温泉旅館　I did enjoy myself at this time in 指宿
Pros:

露天風呂から望む松の木々越しの海が素晴らしかった。砂風呂を初めて体験出来た。フロント、レセプションの対応が親切丁寧で古き良き温泉旅館を想い起こしてくれた。

とても大きくて、砂風呂や美術館もあって、とても楽しみました。少し古いのが残念ですが、部屋は清潔でした～朝入った風呂が良かっまたたです✨バスが便利でした。

薩摩料理食べたかったな、焼肉しか残ってなく。
