I will not return to this property, and I will also avoid other Oakwood hotels or any ASR brands positioned below Oakwood if this reflects Oakwood’s standards. I would not recommend this hotel to others, especially families with children, despite the hotel marketing itself as family-friendly.
We booked a 2-Bedroom apartment at approximately 8,000 THB per night, staying 3 adults and 1 infant. This rate is not cheap, and we reasonably expected a well-maintained room and professional service.
While the room layout itself was acceptable, the actual stay was filled with issues that severely impacted comfort and trust.
The air conditioning is not centralized, and all units were clearly very old, with visibly yellowed indoor units and worn-out remote controls. At night, only 2 out of 4 air conditioners were actually cooling.
Several basic facilities were not functioning properly: the living room phone did not work, and the wardrobe light in the master bedroom was broken.
The only baby amenity provided was a baby cot, which was dirty and damaged. When I asked housekeeping if it could be replaced, I was told that all available cots were in similar condition. I kept the cot but did not allow my baby to use it at all due to hygiene concerns.
The shower water temperature was extremely unstable, constantly switching between hot and cold.
Overall, cost-cutting was evident throughout the room, from toilet paper that disintegrated when wet, to very rough facial tissues, and even in basic amenities — a 2-bedroom unit clearly intended for 4 guests was provided with only one toothbrush per room.
Late at night, when we discovered the air-conditioning issue, we attempted to contact a technician. However, since the in-room phone was not working, I had to search for the hotel’s contact number online and call using my personal mobile phone.
The only positive aspect of this stay was the Front Office team. The front desk and bell staff were friendly and helpful, and the following morning they sent a fruit platter as an apology. I appreciate the gesture; however, my overall opinion remains unchanged.
I do not believe this was an isolated incident. The operation appears to lack a proper SOP for room inspection before rooms are sold, relying instead on guests to identify defects after check-in. More concerning, staff at different levels seemed aware of these problems yet unable or unwilling to improve the situation, as if this has become the accepted norm.
One final point worth noting: guests are required to sign a disclaimer stating the hotel is not responsible for any loss of items in the room. I have stayed at many large international hotel chains, and this was the first time I have ever been asked to sign such a document.
Unfortunately, this stay significantly damaged my trust in the Oakwood brand and ASR as a whole.

Superb hospitality throughout our stay. I would especially like to thank Ms. Jeabby for her exceptional service, professionalism, and warm attitude. She was always attentive, courteous, and ensured that everything was handled smoothly, making our experience truly comfortable and memorable.
We stayed at the Oakwood Hotel & Residence Sri Racha last Friday with a large family group—5 adults and two 10-month-old babies. We booked a 2-bedroom suite, and it was absolutely perfect for us. It offers excellent value for money considering the huge, clean space and the stunning sea view.
The room was incredibly spacious, sparkling clean, and well-maintained, which was very important since we had two infants crawling around. The highlight was definitely the panoramic sea view; it was breathtaking to wake up to every morning. The amenities are perfect for families with infants; the room felt like a home away from home.
What makes this hotel even better is its prime location. It is surrounded by great local restaurants and is very close to popular tourist attractions. We found it very convenient to go out for meals and sightsee without having to spend much time in the car—which is a huge plus when traveling with infants!
Everyone in the family loved it, especially the little ones! The staff was accommodating, and the overall atmosphere made our trip very relaxing. Highly recommended for families traveling with young children. We will definitely be back!

We are returning long stay guests to Oakwood, Sri Racha
Unfortunately our stay this time was marked by several instances of illness / allergic reactions - due to severe adverse weather/atmospheric pollution - which coincided with typhoons in the region. Once again, it was the wonderful staff of Oakwood who came to the rescue. In particular, khun Sumeet - very kindly allowed me to spend some time at Somerset Harbourview Sri Racha - in their gym equipped with an air filter. Khun Lina & her staff immediately arranged for an air filter to be installed in our room and, as well, cleaned the A/c filters - so I was able to stay indoors during the period of extended pollution…. 😅 literally a lifesaver!. Heartfelt thanks to Khun Lina, Khun Sumeet, khun Haziq for all their kind help.
Khun Am - Khun Jeab & the staff @ TrEat restaurant - (also chef khun Nuch) always make us feel like family - rather than guests - going out of their way to help us whenever we are suffering from too much travel / change of food from one country to another. Their kind help & attention to detail is what really makes our stay memorable.

During my stay at the Oakwood Hotel from 2022 to the present, my experience has been excellent. The services—especially the catering—have consistently exceeded my expectations. The staff are exceptionally polite, helpful, and genuinely hospitable.
I was impressed with Oakwood Resident Sriracha k.Jeab she is manager restaurant she good take care and give help in breakfast I really appreciate services and professionalism her all staff be kind and good service k.Bam and k.Nippon she willing to recommend about hotel facility and the last one K.Joy supervisor she is excellent and services was fast friendly I wish all guy keeping services
This is an awful ‘bucket & spade’ dive.
First premium room that I had pre booked had light fixings hanging by bare wires next to the bed, a door that you had to kick to open / close as the door was jammed in the frame.
Poor cleaning, 1960’s style a/c units in each room that are better at making a loud noise than cooling the rooms.
‘Bonging’ lifts designed to keep you awake all night, hard wood floors designed to amplify every passing footstep.
You open ‘the balcony’ door to be hit with torrent of hot air from the a/c units mounted at head height on the balcony wall.
I could go on but what is the point? It’s simply ghastly.

It is a recommended place for everyone to come. The atmosphere is good and is the tallest building in Sriracha. The receptionist is good. And not to be missed is to drink and enjoy the view on the 48th floor. There is a promotion, drink buy 1 get 1 get 1 free. There is a staff. It is Ms. Nan, who recommends drinks very well. Bar Trender, Mr. Earth, Mr. New makes drinks very well. Ms. Fern has been talking for a long time, and Ms. Ja, and Ms. Tuk takes very well. The staff takes good care of it and Mr. Sunny, the manager is very cute.
