Lavender Lodge Hotel

The staff was very cordial and polite. The furniture, decor and amenities are outdated compared to the 2 other hotels that we experienced during our stay. Lobby, dining area and bedroom furniture were all from the ‘70’s with scratches and dents from extended use. They even had bells on the counter and tables to “summon” the workers which is a step backwards in society. No one in the service industry wants to be summoned by a ringing bell. Bells were used when the clients didn’t want to have the help visible. Nowadays the servers are visible where the guests can make eye contact or give a hand gesture. We will not return.

Clean, friendly hotel for transit, by airport.

Stayed in February 25 from UK. Location is excellent, staff very helpful and great.
I wouldn't return however, because the decor is outdated, tiles marked, walls needs painting and fixtures and fittings needs updating!

Ideal setting for a layover in Accra.

This is a very good 3 star hotel. The staff, particularly Ezekiel and Isaac at reception, are outstanding. They anticipate your needs and go out of their way to assist with anything and everything to make your stay excellent. They had great suggestions on restaurants, transportation, and places to visit. Located in a nice neighborhood with tree-lined streets, it is an easy uber ride to most places you will want to go. I went to two excellent restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Wifi is really strong. Air conditioning worked very well. I'm very happy I stayed here.

I stayed here one night and it was nice I didn't spend a lot of time. Staff was friendly and very attentive and helpful when I needed to make a phone call they brought a cell phone to my room. Only thing that shower was a problem . I tried to turn on the water and if you don't point the sprayer away It will go all over the floor so basically you have to hold The handheld shower hose the whole time or the floor gets soaked....other than that it was safe and comfy

The location is close to the airport and in a good neighborhood and the staff were helpful; however, the facilities appear to have never been updated and are in poor condition. \The room I was given had water damage on the ceiling, a very stained upholstered chair from their dining area, marred floor tiles, a loose faucet plus other items in need of replacement or repair. For 119 USD per night I expected more.

I found the staff to be wonderful and accommodating. The facilities were average in terms of condition, probably above average in terms of cleanliness.

Breakfast was good, though they do charge extra if you want more a more European breakfast, but the charge is reasonable.

The AC in my room didn’t work, I didn’t tell them till I was checking out this AM because we arrived so late and I didn’t want to deal with moving. The receptionist was very apologetic and highlighted that they would have moved me if I’d complained the night before.

Overall, I’d stay again if I find myself in Accra.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The property was well kept.
It was a little misleading about shuttle to airport. All they did was call the cab for you. You paid. It was made to sound as if they provided that for you.

Great hospitality, huge breakfast included, airport service, and a great pool!!! Enjoyed my short stay.

I loved the Lavendar Lodge.
The staff to a person were so accomodating. Always seeing if you needed anything.
The room was very nice.

And delicious. The meals were delicious and very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Oh you can get nicer and more modern accommodations but you cannot get a nicer staff or a more pleasant stay.
It is also very quiet yet near the airport and many cultural spots.

A home away from home in Accra !

Conveniently located close to the airport in a quiet residential area, this hotel offers great service, comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast with real coffee (which we always take in the garden next to the pool).

We have stayed at Lavender Lodge regularly for the last 5 or 6 years and dont even look at any other hotel whem we are in Accra.
