We were passing through Tucumcari and just needed a bed for the night. The hotel was clean and functional with helpful staff. Perfect the purposes we required.
It's a hotel for being on the move, so don't expect at great view from the window!
I have stayed at thus location several times and recommended this location to family.
When we checked in and settled in our room, a mouse appeared we were located on the 3rd floor.. We wanted to check out but a bad storm was approaching and would be unsafe for us to leave. Our room and floor were changed but I still had anxiety all night.
Spacious room. They allowed us as a walk-in late at night. Excellent staging ground for our adventure on Ute Lake.

The worst thing was the 7am breakfast.
Completely stupid to start breakfast at 7am.
So many people had to leave before the breakfast.
0600 is the time to start breakfast at a hotel, people need to get on the road.
The breakfast needs to be at the customers convenience, not the staff.

No local TV stations were working at all in the rooms, ICE machine on our floor was out of service, the snack pantry was poorly stocked.
The location was convenient to the interstate. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were staying just overnight as we drove cross country so it was exactly what we needed.

Great room for the price; very comfortable. Reception staff was courteous and helpful. Good breakfast included, with plenty of meal options.
I didn't realize this is a pet-friendly property, and I was a little thrown when I saw a dog in the breakfast area. It's unhygienic and unpleasant.
