Hotel Cabot Cala Ferrera

The rooms are in urgent need of renovation. The signs of wear are evident everywhere, including the mirrors and the bathroom. I can understand having two beds in a room, but what doesn’t make sense is that the beds have wheels — it’s uncomfortable for a couple. It’s also hard to understand why they still use shower curtains these days; it’s not very hygienic. The soundproofing is also nonexistent, both from the outside and between rooms. Another downside is the parking — the hotel has very few spaces for the number of rooms. The only positive aspect of the hotel is its location.

Zimmer war sehr gut, die Aussicht vom Balkon hervorragend! Das Essen hat uns gar nicht gefallen – aber das ist Geschmackssache. Der Kunstrasen beim Pool sieht etwas seltsam aus. Im Großen und Ganzen aber ganz okay, und das Personal war sehr nett.

Overall hotel is okay. However, it is very old and needs updating. Food service should be better to offer more options.

Our 2nd stay at Cabot. Although the hotel is dated, great staff service, food service, and location bring us back for more. The hotel is rumored to undergo a major renovation this winter off-season. Will be interesting to see how it looks afterwards.

Abbiamo trascorso 6 notti presso l'Hotel Cabot Cala Ferrera con il mio fidanzato durante le vacanze estive a Cala d'Or. La posizione dell'hotel è ottima: situato in una zona tranquilla, ma a breve distanza da negozi e attrazioni locali.

L'esperienza complessiva è stata abbastanza positiva, anche se ci sono alcuni aspetti da migliorare. La stanza era confortevole e il letto molto comodo, il che ci ha permesso di riposare bene. Avevamo anche un balcone, che è stato un bel plus, ma una pecca riguarda il bagno: era cieco e senza ventilazione forzata, il che rendeva un po' meno piacevole l'ambiente.
Un altro punto negativo riguarda l'insonorizzazione delle stanze. Nonostante sul sito fosse riportato che le stanze erano insonorizzate, abbiamo sentito parecchio rumore, proveniente sia dai corridoi che dai balconi delle stanze vicine. Questo ha un po' rovinato l'atmosfera di tranquillità che cercavamo.
Per quanto riguarda la ristorazione, la colazione era abbastanza buona, con una varietà di scelte, ma il cibo in generale (specialmente nei pasti principali) non è stato all'altezza delle aspettative. La qualità delle pietanze lasciava molto a desiderare.
La struttura è ben tenuta, ma avrebbe davvero bisogno di una modernizzazione, specialmente nelle stanze e nei bagni. Un altro aspetto positivo è stato il Wi-Fi, che ha funzionato molto bene, senza interruzioni. Consiglio questo hotel sia a famiglie, grazie alla presenza di animazione per bambini, che a coppie che vogliono rilassarsi.

Lovely stay. Hotel is in an amazing location. Couldn’t have asked for better really. The hotel is just a little dated in the hallways and rooms but not a problem. Everything was clean! Would recommend

Gostamos demais da localização que era perfeita e perto de tudo. A Cala Ferreira é incrivel. Alguns funcionários atendiam sempre bem e alegres mas alguns poucos (restaurante e bar) nao eram simpaticos. Mercantil sempre aberto quase ao lado. Indicaria sim o hotel para outras pessoas

Hotel bien place avec une superbe vu incroyable mais tres bruyant il y a un sérieux manque d insonorisation au niveaux des chambres on a l impression de dormir avec son voisin de chambre.

Petit déjeuner manque de variations.

Die Lage direkt am Wasser hat uns sehr gut gefallen und alles in Allem auch. Nur die Hellhörigkeit und die lauten Nachbarn nicht.

Rooms are basic but they are all you need considering the surrounding area. The Included buffet breakfast was great value and provided a good range of food, a great option to have a quick and easy breakfast before seeing the island. The dinner at the hotel was more ordinary and the included wines on tap were terrible (sorry to say). Maybe the dinner is more for families, everything else about the hotel was great.

Staff were all very welcoming and nice, especially Roman at the front desk. will stay again!

We enjoyed a week at the Cala Ferrera. The hotel is not as dated as I thought it would be having read some reviews. It could do with a refurb but is totally reasonable. Just don’t be shocked at the wooden door that leads out on to the balcony. The view that it leads to if you are lucky enough to see the sea ( we had a side sea view) was just breathtaking.
We found that the food was not the best. It was a little odd, but certainly did not spoil our holiday. We always found something to eat. I understand that it’s a relatively small hotel compared to others, with mixed nationalities, so providing a range of food to suit everyone is somewhat tricky. My only suggestion would be that food could be replenished quicker.
Staff were very lovely and always willing to help and work extremely hard.
The location is just perfect. Cala Ferrera is beautiful.
Entertainment was very low key. Zack the animation person was very sweet. Always smiling. Although we did not travel with kids, he looked very fun when entertaining the kids.
Luis and Eduardo- do they ever stop working? They seemed to be there constantly and always smiling and never looked stressed.
All in all a very lovely, relaxing holiday. We would return. Thank you!!!

Hotelli oli melko vanhanaikainen ja epäsiisti. Sijainti oli hyvä. Ruoka ei vastannut odotuksiamme millään tavalla ja ravintolan taso oli kouluruokalan tasoa. All inclusive ei ollut rahan arvoinen. Lisäksi hotelli salli vieraiden säilöä koiriaan yön yli auton takakontissa eikä asialle tehty mitään vaikka kävimme respaan ilmoittamassa. Ainoastaan ilmoittivat huoneen asukkaille että olimme käyneet respaan asiasta ilmoittamassa.

Gerçekten otelin konumunu çok beğendik. Otel biraz eskiydi ama fp açısından tavsiye ederiz. Otel odası temizdi ve toplu taşımanın dibindeydi.

Einfach, sachlich und schnörkellos. Es handelt sich um ein älteres Hotel, dem man das Alter überall anmerkt. Das Wesentliche ist vorhanden: Ein Bett, etwas zu essen und zu trinken. Etwas Schönes oder etwas Gemütliches sucht man vergeblich. Für mich waren vierTage mehr als genug.
