Gungl Stubn is my favorite place to stay in the area for ski trips. Friendly hosts and fair pricing.
Pros:

This was my second stay here with some buddies for a ski trip. I love the Gungl Stubn. Perfect distance between Zugspitze and Garmisch Classic. Great traditional Bavarian vibe at a fair price. Owners are also super friendly and helpful.

Heerlijk om een paar dagen heerlijk uit te gaan met goede mogelijkheid om lekker authentiek te eten
Pros:

Perfecte locatie om te skiën met zeer veel mogelijkheden. Huisje voldoet aan verwachting met restaurant. Zeer gastvrij en denken in alles mee.
Gepaste humor waar wij van hielden. Erg veel gelachen om de anekdotes

Very disappointing stay. There was drug use on the balcony below us and the apartment was extremely noisy. The staff held a private Christmas party, were visibly drunk, and reacted disrespectfully when we complained. We were unfairly accused of being disrespectful, while in reality it was the other way around. The shower needs renovation, the beds were uncomfortable, and communication was difficult due to poor German and no English. As a result, we left one day earlier than planned

Absolut unprofessionell.
Unsere Mitarbeiter standen bei Anreise vor verschlossener Tür, obwohl die Ankunftszeit telefonisch besprochen wurde.
Zudem sieht man sich seit September 2025 nicht in der Lage, ein Rechnung auszustellen.
Selbst auf Nachricht vom Booking.com-Kundenservice wurde nicht reagiert.

Cons:

Everything about the accommodation was great, except for the host. Since we arrived about three hours earlier than the check-in time, we kindly asked the host if we could leave our luggage in the lobby or waiting area and come back later in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the host was not friendly and refused our request, so we had to leave our belongings at another accommodation nearby, where the owner treated us kindly.

Pros:

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal. Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht und zu Abend gegessen. Es war unglaublich lecker, besonders die Jägersauce. Der Bergblick vom Balkon und die rustikale Atmosphäre waren wirklich beeindruckend. Der dreiminütige Fußweg vom Bahnhof und die Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel haben unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Pros:

Top Lage. Man konnte super auf die Berge schauen. Man hatte die Zugspitze immer in Sichtweite.
Personal super nett. Hatte man ein Problem haben sie sofort mit Lösungen reagiert. Essen Top.
Sauberkeit Top. Hat absolut meiner Vorstellung übertroffen. Der Urlaub war ein voller Erfolg.
