Cenk Bey Hotel

First time coming to Turkey with my granddad and grandma,lovely food and the workers were brilliant very nice calm and funny very helpful truly a 100/10 rate.this place is truly for all people comeing to turkey if you ever feel like coming to turkey this is the place

This was a last minute beak for three nights before our gulet cruise. We were the only couple in the hotel so we were given a choice of room , breakfast was continental and plenty, dinner was delicious.
The hospitality was lovely we were made very welcome x
Everywhere was very clean .
Only a five minute walk to Calis beach .

My husband and I visit cenk bay every year. Cenk and his wife andrea are very welcoming , all the staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and towels. We see the same people each year so people go back time and time again. The hotel is situated 5 minutes from the beach, bars and restaurants so it's in a great location. The food is nice and great value for money. We have been home 2 days and cznt wait to go back next year. Thank you cenk Bey for another great time! See you next year.

Just returned after three weeks at cenk bey hotel bed breakfast and evening meal. Warmly greeted personally by Andrea and Cenk.The rooms were cleaned and sheets and towels changed on a daily basis. We had a pool view which I would strongly request. The breakfast was turkish style with added bonus of omelottes, the evening meal, consisted of multi optional fresh salad and cooked chicken beef etc. The drinks were reasonable and the service top class. The pool was cleaned daily and plenty of sun loungers to go around. I have personally visited the calis area for many year's and find the turkish people extremely friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this hotel as it ticks all the boxes.

Very nice family hotel. The staff is very friendly and the food is every day very fresh. A very good price for a very good service. The rooms are very clean and the hotel has the perfect location. We come every year for 3 weeks because the hotel is like our second home.

On the first night we noticed that the bed was very hard. I was awake most of the night and my hips were hurting. We got up in the morning and found the shower was cold.
We went to breakfast. There was not much of a selection.The cereal bowls were chipped.
For the evening meal. there was not much of a selection here either.

When the toilet was flushed water poured onto the floor. When we told Andria about this nothing was done.

When I asked Andria about hot water she said the water was solar heated and to have a shower in the afternoon when the sun is out. I said I would like a shower in the morning, to this she just held up her hands as if to say hard luck.
After looking under the mattress all the wooden slats were loose and had moved diagonally, also the mattress was wet and mouldy.

The toilet poured water over the floor every time it was flushed.

The shower was so small that we had to shower with one foot in and one foot out of the shower. The shower trickled so slowly. The drainage in the floor was also filthy with hair and dirt. The shower head it fell off the wall.

There were flying insect all over the ceiling and walls this included in the bed.

A large hole in the wall and an electric wire coming out of the wall.

There was also an electric fuse box with no cover on it.

The pool is cleaned every day and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, not many talk English.

Management not interested in any problems. The just shrug them off to the point of being rude.

- There was no elevator, we have to go up stairs for 4 floor in every time.
- There was no refrigerator in the room, so you can't even have a cold water in the summer times
- The air conditioner was Extra, 3 £ for each night.
- Very little towels
- One shower gel every 3 days
- Very non-welcoming and non-friendly staff.

I don't recommend any one to go there, for me this is the last time.

Stayed with my son for a week, have to say, was thoroughly disappointed.

-Upon arrival, we were told our BOOKED room wasn’t available, we were then forced to have a double when we asked for a twin, had to ask to be moved to a room with a balcony, which is what we originally paid for.

-Balcony was tiny, could barely fit two chairs on it.

-Door to the balcony wouldn’t lock, had to use a stool to jam it shut

-Sheets and towels were changed ONCE in the week we were there.

-Air Conditining is an additional £3 a day

-The pillows were filthy and sweat stained yellow with no protector

-The WiFi only covered the lounge and no rooms

-Same food for breakfast everyday, one option for dinner and it was a tiny portion.

-NO DRINKS provided for dinner, not even water

-Exposed wiring in the bedroom

-Bathroom was tiny and constantly flooded, the drain was useless

-And WORST of all, the staff. The owner’s wife was rude, ignorant, aggressive and patronising. Made a scene in front of the whole lobby as I had my own water bottle with me during a meal. The following morning another guest did the same thing but wasn’t approached at all. I’ve never felt so unwelcome or uncomfortable at hotel before in my entire life.

The hotel is good for German and Turkish visitors, who receive special treatment and are constantly spoken to and checked up on. If you’re neither, you’ll be ignored, patronised and forgotten about. I was going to return next year with the rest of our family but I would never, ever come back here.

(Location wise it was good, Fethiye is a wonderful place to holiday and there were plenty of good restaurants and day trips, just a shame about the hotel)

Booked a cheap(ish) last minute trip here last week.

Very basic amenities. Room very small but not a major issue as we dont spend muh time in it anyway

The biggest issue we had was the noise. The hotel is located on the main road from Calis Beach to the city of Fethiye. As a result the road is very busy all night.

After the firsr night we asked if we could be moved to the other side of the hotel so it would be quieter. We were told they would check but nobody ever came back to tell us. As a result we stayed in the same room and got absolutely no sleep all week :(

This was by far the biggest let down.

Family run place, all seem nice, especially the kids who help at meal times.

Breakfast offer the same each day which is tough if you are staying for more than a few days. Choice limited as well

Dinner was very good quality. Nice choice of mezze, a soup and 1 main option each day. Again very limited if you are even a little picky with food. We arent so we were ok and the quality was good so that was fine for us.

No drinks with the meals which was rather annoying too as usually we have had this included when HB.

Hotel seemed busy at meal times but there was never anyone next to the pool which was nice. Many times we had the pool to ourselves.

Clientele mainly Turkish. I believe we may have been the only non Turkish people there all week which was nice as we dont particularly like when the hotels are overrun with UK tourists. But again this is our taste and probably not the same for most British people

We loved Calis Beach as a resort. Very quiet, very cheap for food and drink. Very cheap for shopping as well.

Would probably recommend going Self catering in the future

Nice basic room . Food very nice. Near calis beach about 15 min walk. . Only drawback was the owners are German. They were really ignorant . Unless you are German. Won't be back to this hotel. Calis is a lovely place never any trouble.

6 of us stayed here in june for 2 weeks..very lovely place..rooms beautifully decorated and spotless..showers nice and hot but on small side..we had poolside room facing pool...pool is lovely and well kept.sunbathing area is large and plenty of beds..grounds are kept nice too...we stayed half board. food was lovely..breakfast was mixed, turkish aswell as bread,,jams,,cereals etc and fresh eggs cooked to order..daytime snacks had a wide choice and very cheap ,, evening meals were lovely and a hot choice every night. all meals were all nice. on the top floor are suites..we had a look and they were very luxurious would highly recommend. free wifi.. andrea and the staff were so polite.welcoing..attentive..ive stayed many places in calis but the staff here are exceptional. and hayati the night security/barman was lovely,,we were hungry late one night and he phoned local place our food order and had it brought to us. i had a problem and he was there straightaway to help me..all the staff are always there for you for anything. enjoyed our stay here so much we are booking again..close to all amenities and beach approx 7 min walk ,,strongly recommend this place to all ages ..great place to stay !!

We found this place with help of my sister who has been living in Fethiye.
First of all all staff including the owner of the hotel very friendly people.
Family hotel for the families and friends.
The location is so close the Calis Beach and its shopping zone.
Facility and the rooms are comfortable even with the children.
There is very good swimming pool. Also the Calis Beach is just walking distance.
Clean and calm place for summer holiday. Even you have free wi-fi for your vacation!
Breakfast and dinner was quite good. Also you can find nice snacks for some lunch.
Turkish, English and German communication available.
Most of the guests from Germany.
I and my wife stayed 5 nights and 6 days. My daughter and her grandmother (my mother) stayed one more week.
Very good price-product (service) ratio.

Iv been coming here for years I ❤ this hotel. The family and staff are all very nice people. I feel blessed and spoilt every time I stay. I would not stay anywhere else. I highly recommend this hotel it's clean peaceful warm and friendly. The food is great. Plus it's walking distance to beach but I prefer to lay by the lovely pool.

Return visit, room superb, clean & tidy with daily maid service, Andrea & staff always helpful & friendly, Andrea even arranged our transfers, which were quicker & better value than the tour ops, pool is excellent, always busy, snacks available all day, but beware the steak sandwich is huge & tasty, cannot recommend the hotel enough, plenty of options to charge you phones etc, WiFi good, hotel near all bars/shops/beach etc, we will return again next year 🍻🍸😎🌞😎

Location great just off main strip staff friendly hotel a little tired needs attention especially when walking along side the hotel wall in parts falling down over hanging of trees plants just not a good impression

Lovely friendly hotel to stay at. Would recommend this hotel to my friends. Photos are a bit dated, in a lovely location but on a rather busy main road, but close enough for walking to beach. Continental breakfast really good, and you can have a wide choice of scrabbled, fried or omelette made for you whilst you wait.

We stayed at the Cenk Bey from Aug 14th-5th Sept, we really do love returning to this hotel, all the staff and the owners Cenk and Andrea are like our family. The rooms are super clean, fresh towels and beds made every morning. Breakfast is typical Turkish with eggs, fresh bread, olives, yummy home made cake, meats, cheese, tomatoes etc. evening meal is all home made food which is tasty. The pool area is spacious and clean. The new rooms are beautiful, they. Are HUGE!! With a stunning view from balcony, big sofa, air con, large shower and plenty of wardrobe space. It is well worth paying that little extra to stay in the new top floor rooms, we loved it up there!!
