A lovely quiet location, the room and facilities were in good order and the staff were helpful and friendly.
The absolute bomb for me was the excellent evening meal. The game pie is tremendous and the menu itswlf was varied enough to cover everyone.

Didn't know we had to book sessions for the pool but Philippa, an excellent staff member, sorted things out for us. The evening meal we had was excellent, thank you Alex!
All the young staff were very sociable.

Excellent service. Very clean and large adjoining rooms. However the boiler / pipes clanking at 5am for a while and waking us up was less impressive.

Pros:

Really enjoyed the relaxation and to be able to take my dog with me was even better. The place was immaculate considering dogs are allowed in these rooms.

Pros:

Our stay was ok - had to travel a few miles to nearest local amenities. Owner couldn't stop talking about his past business success with websites when we were hoping to enjoy a quiet evening drink on our return from an evening out.
