Very relaxing and accommodating topped with elegance. One of my most pleasurable overnight experiences.
Excellent service and very accommodating! I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
Great room, wonderful food, and accommodating staff. We were given a private tour when we arrived and welcomed in our room with a handwritten note and a couple of chocolate bourbon balls. The castle is very picturesque. We stayed for my wife's 50th birthday. She was treated like a queen. Definite winner.
This Castle was amazing! From the very beginning once we pulled up and saw the beautiful view lit up at night to the welcome when we walked in the front door and the personal tour prior to us checking into our rooms. Everything was just like a fairytale. The second night we were there they had a father daughter princess ball going on and the little girls had their tiaras on with their daddies in their tuxes and it was adorable. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help us out with whatever we needed. The beds were very comfortable as well.
The location is absolutely breathtaking, the room was beautiful, the staff was kind. The overnight stay however was pretty bad. We were up half the night with a very loud party downstairs, multiple slamming doors and a barking dog (inside). Also at around 3:30 a man came into our room with a keycard when I was most inappropriately dressed on the bed. Of course he apologized thinking the room was empty but not before seeing me in quite the humiliating condition. I was told at check out that it was the night manager and that he would be contacting me by phone to apologize. After no call was received the next day I called and was told that he would be in at 10am and would contact me at that time. I have still not received that promised call. By the end of the stay I was exhausted and embarrassed. I'm sure this was a fluke happening but it was definitely an awful experience to go through. Like I stated earlier everything else was absolutely perfect, just not to sleep there.
This was such a great hotel! The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was excellent. The room was perfect. Fresh, soft sheets and puffy pillows. Everything smelled fresh and clean. Tub in the bathroom was fantastic!
We stayed at Castle Post as part of a weekend birthday celebration for our 10 yr old son. We loved it! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles from staff that made us feel like royalty. Kiaya was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She was also great with our son, making sure to listen & speak with him. The castle was absolutely beautiful! From the grand entrance to the shower, everything was awesome! Pictures do not do the castle justice. I only wish it had been warmer outside so that we could have spent more time exploring the grounds. The bar was also nice. Jess was outstanding and made an awesome Cosmo! She and the other bartender (I'm sorry, I didn't catch her name) were both friendly, energetic and over the top Fun! Dinner was fine (the food may have been a little "fancy" for us) and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. Oh, I almost forgot, our room was spectacular (I'm pretty sure we were upgraded!) and we had a great time exploring inside and out. I highly recommend Castle Post. Thank you all for the wonderful experience.
Staying at the castle is fun. Rooms are luxurious. Hotel staff are very good.
Very noisy late PM hrs., hard to sleep. Staff was nice room clean.
Ideal location for a late flight to Lexington. Wonderful staff, pleasing room and dining experience.
First off no tissue paper, no toliet paper, no chairs to relax in, no hot water for shower, no side table by bed, limited ac plugs for charging, etc. Overall the place is impressive but for a high end destination they have a lot to learn.
Having driven by the castle many times in my 46 years, I have always been fascinated with its story. I am so thankful that after all these years, someone has lovingly finished and restored it, and opened it to the public for all to enjoy. Thank you to my sweet husband for this amazing experience!
Good experience! Staff was great, got to stay in a Castle, who doesn't want to stay in a castle. Beautiful inside and out. Breakfast, lunch and diner served on location.
It was amazing. We had such a wonderful time. I would recommend this place to everyone.
This place is a must do! So incredibly beautiful and the staff is amazing-- especially the concierge. Put this place on your bucket list, you will be glad you did.
The decor is beautiful, staff was very helpful, our room was extremely quiet and comfortable, and the food was very tasty. Take the time to take pictures because you will want to remember your stay here. We absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay at the Castle.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a definite do again!
Excellent customer service from staff. Property is beaitiful
I spoke to a wonderful man named Caleb and informed Caleb that my parents will stay there for one night as a gift from myself. He was very kind, helpful , and reassuring. Unfortunately, the experience my parents received was not as we expected. Firstly, the room I booked says breakfast included however my parents were told they have to pay for any breakfast. Upon entering the hotel they werent offered any kind of help or guidance to explore the castle grounds. The room doesnt have a phone so if you need anything one will have to go upstairs and downstairs. There was absolutely no room service, the small fridge in the room was empty not even water was avaliable! The staff was aware that my dad was in cancer remission and he medicine he must take early in the morning and evening hours. He took his medicine with no food as they were told they need to pay for breakfast because I told them everything is included. Nobody told them what they can see or do. They literally just slept and left eventhough I chose the castle thinking the last thing it would be is a plain boring hotel. It was actually less than that as there wasnt any kind if hospitality. Thank you Caleb for your kindness while on the phone with me however everything else was extremly dissapointing.
This property could be a major player in the Lexington hotel scene IF they capitalize on their extremely fortunate niche market and location advantages. There’s ZERO places to stay near the airport of this caliber. You must market the upscale airport patrons. I’m excited for the management and new owners. I’m available for consultation should you need it.
