Amazing value for money in a comfortable little house on stilts over the water.
Pros:

An en suite with a shower cubicle so the floor didn’t get wet.
Very clean with fridge in room.
Looking out over the lotus flower watercourse from the accommodation.
Shaded seating area/porch.

Plenty of space to park

Cons:

While we were there, sadly a farmer was building a big barn just behind the resort and it was a bit noisy in what otherwise would have been the most tranquil location.

One evening I was the only white at main local 7-11 shop with surroundings. Could observe local life
Pros:

Wanted to be in a quiet location without crowds and closer to the beach. Got what I wanted. If owners did not install a fan, more energy was spent on air-conditioner.

When we got there it was much better than expected so quiet peacful and beutiful will definitely be goin back the manager was great anything you wanted he got for you and even organised trips out for us for 2 days loved it fantastic place

Very nice quiet getaway
Pros:

Very nice, quiet resort. All of the staff we encountered were very lovely, and always making sure we were happy. Room was very clean, had everything you need. 10 min walk from the beach

Cons:

Fridge was off when we arrived and we had things to store in there so that was a little inconvenient. Also the pillow was really hard and big which was quite uncomfortable, but these are both small issues and overall we enjoyed our stay.

We booked two rooms, but one was not clean, so we had to request a change. The other room couldn’t be locked, and the showerhead was quite old. The surroundings were also different from the photos.

For a quick visit in van Chang you have everything you need, if you lower your standards a little.

Superb
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff. Apart from the delicious resort food, there are good local Thai food options (not over-priced foreigner food). Supermarkets, laundromat and atm just a short walk away. Beautiful garden and pond, very peaceful. We had a garden bungalow and it was private with a verandah, and a nice view from inside. Highly recommended, good value for money.

Nice and Easy!
Pros:

Beautiful bungalows in the middle of the lotus’s lake with a panoramic view directly from the bed! Nice place to rest after the long flight or before the next one! Near the airport! Comfortable! Friendly staff! Love to the details and to Art in the garden.
