Pros:

We had to walk 200 meters carrying our bags in the heat of the day. The road stops far from the entrance unless you have 4wd. No help with this.

Lovely lodge on a beautiful beach
Pros:

This is s special place right on the beach in Abene, Casamance, Senegal. It is a small simple lodge run by Patrick and his mother right on an immense unspoiled beach. The food is very French style but delicious. Lots of fresh fish and local Flag beer. This is a fantastic place to get away from hustle and bustle. Don’t expect 5 star comfort, but do expect 5 star welcome from the wonderful people in this charming area.

Prachtig gelegen bij het strand.
Pros:

We hebben hier een hele leuke tijd gehad. Er is best wat onderhoud nodig aan de kamers en ik begreep dat dit binnenkort ook gaat gebeuren. Het toilet is schoon maar ziet er niet mooi uit. Water in de badkamer liep niet goed weg. De slaapkamer is ruim. Het bed goed en de douche verder prima. Er wordt ook goed schoongemaakt. Fijn is dat er een apart toilet is. Het laatste stuk van de toegangsweg is te mul voor een gewone taxi. Wifi doet het regelmatig niet. Er zijn fijne stoelen met mooi uitzicht op zee. Ook kun je prachtig wandelen over het strand of zwemmen in zee. Naar het stadje (leuk, origineel) loop je in ongeveer 25 minuten. Om 5 uur in de ochtend werd er nog een ontbijt voor ons gemaakt.
