Pros:

The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind! Not just helping to help but they seemed caring also. My husband remarked that the hotel staff we encountered were the most helpful he's interacted with in many years.

Pros:

My daughter and I visiting from Australia enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Hyatt House in Washington DC in December.

The hotel was in DC’s Wharf precinct. It was walking distance to the International Spy Museum, and located very close to a bus stop for access to other DC locations.

Our check in was seamless and quick. Charlie on the front desk was extremely friendly and deserves a special shout out for his help.

We had a huge 2-bed room with a separate lounge area, and a lovely view of the marina. There were laundry facilities on our level.

Breakfast was included in our room rate, and was served in the hotel restaurant in the lobby. There was an outdoor terrace also located on that level, with fire pits and lovely marina views.

From the ground level of the hotel building you can easily access the many restaurants located along the boardwalk of the Wharf. Because we were there in December, many of those restaurants were closed but the Wharf was decked out for Christmas which was beautiful.

We will definitely be back for another stay when the weather is warmer!

Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and an overall easy, enjoyable stay
Pros:

Loved the location right on the wharf with tons of restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean, the room was spacious, and the staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good, and the area was roomy with plenty of comfortable seating. It’s included with the stay too, which is a nice bonus. If you’re driving, valet parking is the way to go. Would definitely stay here again.

Location great-everything else could have been so much better.
Pros:

Location was perfect. Breakfast was fresh and pretty decent.

Cons:

Had a river front view only to arrive and told that the king suite was “under construction.” We were given a sub bar room-felt dirty. Called front desk because the alarm clock USB chargers were not functioning. They just said “we don’t have any other alarm clocks to give you because of the construction.”
