QT Queenstown

QT Queenstown was a beautiful, freshly renovated hotel. Super close to the centre of town to stroll to but just far enough away to not feel right in the guts of the busiest part. We stayed in a terrace view room and the view was insane! The staff were amazing and the sensory bar in the lobby was such a nice touch! Turn down service with all the goodies was also a real treat!

We loved our stay and especially the treats at reception morning noon and night. Love the foyer overlooking the lake - has a wonderful vibe. Rooms were excellent - overall loved the location and our stay even though there was construction works happening.

QT Queenstown is the old Rydes hotel. Same ownership, different brand. The brand is young, hip and fresh. The hotel fit out gives a modern Austin Powers vibe. The staff and service were exceptional. The room was lovely. They served some of the best food we had during our stay in QT.

Room was a good size and very modern. Bed was comfortable.

Great location - easy walk into town ! Bathrooms nice & spacious & with a Dyson hairdryer that was amazing!! Comfortable bed. Absolutely LOVED the complimentary gifts every eve - also - fresh croissants in the morning, cheese & crackers & wine in the evening was a really lovely touch! Breakfast in the restaurant was outstanding! SO much delicious food to choose from ! Staff are SUPER friendly & delightful to deal with !

Beautifully presented loved the new lobby and our room staff and turndown service was amazing

We loved the foyer sitting area, fire place. We loved the cheese and biscuits hosted in the evenings there and the free croissant and juice in the morning. The rooftop restaurant was good and the breakfasts were amazing.

QT Queenstown exceeded every expectation and delivered one of the finest hotel experiences my husband and I have ever had.
We initially stayed during the RANZCO conference and loved it so much that we extended our visit for two additional nights purely for pleasure — and we were so glad we did.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the extraordinary staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely eager to help. The concierge team was absolutely exceptional, always going above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. Their kindness and attention to detail made such a difference and turned an already beautiful stay into something truly special.
The hotel itself is stunning, with spectacular views overlooking the lake and mountains. Waking up each morning to that scenery was unforgettable.
QT also offers so many thoughtful touches that elevate the entire experience: complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoons, lovely pastries in the mornings, and whisky and chocolates in the evening. These little extras created such a warm and luxurious atmosphere.
The buffet breakfast was outstanding — an enormous variety of fresh and delicious foods, beautifully presented, and enjoyed with breathtaking lake views.
The conference hosted at the hotel was flawlessly executed as well, with excellent catering, audiovisual support, and organization throughout.
Most importantly, though, it was the culture of hospitality that impressed us most. The staff consistently made us feel valued, cared for, and welcomed. This was truly a first-class, five-star experience from beginning to end. Amazing!!!
We cannot wait to return to QT Queenstown and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting this beautiful part of New Zealand.
