Absolutely loved the room, the balcony and view were perfect. Bed was super comfortable and staff were so friendly. Definitely would stay at QT Queenstown again.
I was aware that the restaurant was not open at the time of my stay and there was ongoing construction outside the Hotel. A little bit of noise during the day but didn't bother me too much.
The hotel was amazing, high standard. The atrnetion to detail and all the little touches were amazing as was the staff. They were friendly & very attentive.
The young staff were exceptional. Very professional to make up for the construction work and lack of advertised facilities ie pool, wellness centre expected, work people passing by our balconies
I was escaping building work at my home and when I saw the building work as I arrived I was surprised.
We had no knowledge of the substantial work being done but keep our minds open.
My first request was I would not be next to the construction. We were room 109- the first room next to the construction work..workers walked by our room building and placing furniture. Our blinds were open and there was no privacy whatsoever. It was uncomfortable for them and us. We were woken by drills and loud building work early morning each day but Sunday. Building finishes were being completed as we walked in. Scaffolding obscured view which were the reason we treated ourselves over our budget.
Beautiful location however our room looked on to a road and not the lake. No indication in the booking about this.
Very disappointing stay. The hotel is busy doing major renovations to which we were not alerted. Noisy and an eye sore. Rooms are tired and we had a huge crack in the basin.

Since the hotel was newly opened on the day we arrived, the brand new lobby with complimentary food and drink all day. I was satisfied. The room I stayed faced the lake view and in-room facilities were fully equipped, they have Dyson hair dryer for the guest rooms.
Overall was great and I realized the room rate was valued of money, I will definitely be back again if I visit Queenstown.
The check out time was a bit early for me BUT the hotel staff was generously allow me to late check out.
Room, view and especially staff exceeded expectations.
Extremely friendly and generous hotel. Greeted at the beautiful new reception with pastries and juice while waiting to check in. PM, there was free champagne and cheese and even a whisky and chocolates on our return at night after being out. incredible!!

Maybe because it was being renovated but I feel like we were a bit let down by the facilities, for the money we paid there wasn’t much more than a restaurant and even then we were caught in loud renovations
Property undergoing extensive renovations which limited options and made breakfast rather unpleasant with noise and dust. Staff did their best to mitigate impact but not a great experience
