If you wish to use the parking, please let the property know your license plate number in advance to reserve a space. Contact details are stated in the booking confirmation.

Please note that in winter, the property is only reachable by cable car, that stops running after 16:30. Extra fees apply for the cable car tickets.

During summer, the Rinderberg Swiss Alpine Lodge is easily reachable by car: take the Rinderbergstrasse from Zweisimmen and drive all the way up to the lodge.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Pros:

Le charme de l'établissement. Le sauna extérieur est tellement charmant. La vue depuis le balcon de la chambre est fabuleuse ! On se sent presque seul au monde, avec quelques vaches.. :-)
Excellent vin au verre, au restaurant.

Cons:

A mon avis, il manque un miroir en pied dans la chambre. La carte du restaurant pourrait être plus raffinée, même si on y mange plutôt bien.

Frau Baumeler und ihr Team machen einen super Job. Stets freundlich und hilfsbereit, alles tiptop sauber und gepflegt. Hier wird mit viel Herzblut gearbeitet.
Wir haben uns bei euch sehr wohl gefühlt und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Pros:

We were there end of spring/beginning of summer and it was not crowded, coming by cabin to you hotel was nice experience. We then walked directly off from the hotel the next day over the mountain top and did the beautiful ridge walk to Schönried.

Cons:

Parking is unclear, at the lodge they tell you you can park at the bottom station, but there everything indicates overnight parking is strictly forbidden and also the parking app tells you you are not allowed to stay there. Even the people at the cabin station have no clue where you should be parking if you want to stay overnight.

Die Lage ist super, sehr ruhig und wunderschön gelegen in den Bergen, ideal für Wanderungen oder Spaziergänge. Hot Pot oder Sauna mit Aussicht auf die Berge.

Lovely spot for a drink in the sun
Pros:

If you have a bit of time spare while you're in Zweisimmen (or, as was the case for us, at the end of the GoldenPass journey from Montreux) and you're not skiing, then taking the Rinderberg Gondola halfway to the Rinderberg Lodge is a great way to spend an hour or two. It takes about 15 minutes each way on the cable, 25CHF in total, and Rinderberg Lodge is then just around the corner from the station. Lovely and cosy inside, but really nice outside too. Ideal for a sunny day. Service was quick, our beer and coffee was good, and it was a nice, chilled atmosphere. Stunning views of course!
