Very enjoyable stay THANKYOU.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good.
Location was excellent.

Cons:

Shower in room temperature fluctuated without controlling it! I have reported it!

As already stated PERFECT.
Pros:

The breakfast was to my liking as my usual one is cereal and that was there and so easy to pour into the bowl.T

The only fault was that in the evening ordered a latte for myself and a tea for my partner. Both were hardly warm and my latte was just half a cup. But this was a minor blip in a fantastic sta Thankyou very muc

Certainly would return.
Pros:

Lovely friendly staff, always greeted with a smile. Location for walking was excellent.

Cons:

Bit diappointed by the food. Had to send back one meal. This was replaced without a quibble by an excellent salmon dish. Found the room stuffy, difficult to get flow through. Room clean but needed refurbishment.

2nd time there and we had a great time
Pros:

Location is amazing, rooms are OK

Cons:

Don't expect the ritz but for families its great, the location is the best I have stated in. Yes its not 5 star luxury and its run down but if it wasn't it would be 3 times the price.

Would definitely go again
Pros:

Staff brilliant, breakfast couldn't wish for more, overall experience great. Staff do so much to make everything work well. It is truly appreciated. Grounds are lovely and access to the beach so near.

Cons:

It tired and they are seeking to redevelop. Staff to a brilliant job in making the best of what they have. Hats off to them.

Mis-sold suite description
Pros:

The sea view was excellent

Cons:

The accommodation was not as described, there was no living room as was expected. It is described as a suite but was only a room with en-suite shower room.

Loved it at Knowl house, can't wait to stay again.
Pros:

Nice hotel, liked historical aspects ,old pictures and interpretation. Good breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere. Good basic facilities games room, spa, lovely outside pool, bar also nice and dog friendly. Loved our stay, we have always wanted to stay when in Dorset, this was our first time. Had a deal as often a little out of our price range. Loved it.

Cons:

Evening meal a bit pricey for us. Would probably have eating one evening if a good vegan option had been on the menu

Enjoyed the break , but would have preferred a cleaner room - however the outside pool was brilliant

Swimming pool - enjoyable . Restaurant pleasant ; breakfast good . Staff were helpful and polite .

Cons:

The room was old , tired with a strange four poster bed , toilet paper stuffed in air vents , unable to close the shower screen and the carpet and floor covering in the bathroom were sticky and needed a wash .

A gem for exploring the Purbecks
Pros:

Beautiful location, lovely atmosphere, that gave it a feel that you were stepping back into the past.Very handy for the beach. The staff were great and the hotel was exceptionally clean.
