Last minute booking,nicely Suprised by quality of stay .Will be revisiting with family.
Pros:

Great location,close to the beach and further walking routes ,immediately from the hotel.Felt homely and comfortable.
Staff pleasant and professional .Swimming pool and also dogs welcome.Family friendly.

Good breakfast and plenty options available for dining .

A fabulous area of Purbeck where there's limited choice with regards to places to stay.
Pros:

Lovely view - but we paid extra for that. Room was spacious but dated. Beds comfortable. Lots of friendly and helpful staff. Lots of comfortable communal spaces. We were there in winter, but I imagine that the big outdoor pool is lovely in the summer - probably a great place for a family holiday as the beach is a short walk away and there are lots of activities to enjoy when the weather gets better.

Cons:

Little extras that cost money that are not apparent on initial booking - e.g. to use the Jacuzzi was extra and overall very disappointing as not particularly hot and also the jacuzzi and plunge pool area are not very well maintained. Games room sounded fun on booking but when you get there you realise you have to pay extra to play air hockey or pool and although - the ping pong table was free there were bats but no balls! Hotel definitely in need of a revamp - very tired.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay I'm sure we'll be back.
Pros:

There was plenty of variety to suit everyone's tastes, the breakfast staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble.

Cons:

The mattress I found it too hard!

Pros:

The restaurant was excellent and the staff were very good. The location of the hotel was very good. The room had an excellent view. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The room was small and looking tired. One of the windows had old metal frames and cracked glass. The bathroom was very small and the TV was also small. The corridor carpets were starting to look worn on the stairs. The room furniture was very old and took up a lot of space with little gain.

Pros:

Stunning location, lovely facilities, and helpful staff.

Cons:

I’ve stayed here twice now, the first time I got a courtyard room, which was massive and beautiful.
The next time, I booked what I thought was the same room (but cost more), and was given a much smaller room within the main hotel – nowhere near as impressive, but comfortable.

It’s like stepping back in time, a real treat!
Pros:

I love it at knoll house, never disappoints. Its old world charm always delights. It’s a little worn around it edges but adds to the atmosphere. Great staff and excellent for the dogs.

Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, would highly recommend.
Pros:

Beautiful setting, located well to swanage and ferry to get across to Poole.
Great facilities for all the family to have as chilled out time. Fabulous food and service.

As already stated PERFECT.

The breakfast was to my liking as my usual one is cereal and that was there and so easy to pour into the bowl.T

The only fault was that in the evening ordered a latte for myself and a tea for my partner. Both were hardly warm and my latte was just half a cup. But this was a minor blip in a fantastic sta Thankyou very muc

Enjoyed the break , but would have preferred a cleaner room - however the outside pool was brilliant

Swimming pool - enjoyable . Restaurant pleasant ; breakfast good . Staff were helpful and polite .

Cons:

The room was old , tired with a strange four poster bed , toilet paper stuffed in air vents , unable to close the shower screen and the carpet and floor covering in the bathroom were sticky and needed a wash .

Certainly would return.
Pros:

Lovely friendly staff, always greeted with a smile. Location for walking was excellent.

Cons:

Bit diappointed by the food. Had to send back one meal. This was replaced without a quibble by an excellent salmon dish. Found the room stuffy, difficult to get flow through. Room clean but needed refurbishment.
