Beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. The food and drinks were amazing. The beach space is fantastic, very few people at the beach and the water was easy and calm. Highly recommend!

This property was a last second decision and we are so glad we made it! The beach was lovely, the staff is on point and the room was more than adequate specially at this price point.

Great to have a kitchen facility, but the utensil options were lacking. If you are looking for a beach that is easy to walk and not many people, a great choice. The music playing all day at the pool is a deterrent.

Evryone should stay at the ShowPony. The staff is excellent, the food is great and the ambience is very peaceful!

This place felt like paradise. We were there for only one night as a stop from El Valley Del Anton to Boquete. I wish I had stayed 2 nights (and not stop at Valley Del Anton). Property is great. I guess the only downside is the 2 km dirt road, but that's what it takes to get to paradise.

Loud boom boom music...water in pool was not cleaned...got a double charge for food and drinks....not much privacy...

Las Lajas is my favorite beach and the location for the sunrise and sunset is magnificent. This is where I came to love Panamas tangerine sunset skies. Room was great and the service was so attentive.

This is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the beach. The apartments are clean and spacious. There is seating for both eating and seating for relaxing right outside your door.

This place was a welcome respite from other hotels. It was quiet, convenient, the AC worked marvelously, the bed was clean, there were no bugs. I can't say anything more other than nice things. On top of that Isaac greeted us warmly and ensured we were happy here. 10/10

Location, great. Staff, excellant. Food, very good. Only issue we had was hot eater in shower was hard to regulate.

I stayed at the property for two night and really enjoyed it. The staff are great and go out of their way for you. Kudos specifally to Julio and Jordan. Great workers! Be advised this resort is remote but it is beautiful and I stayed in what was called the Villa. It had a full kitchen with a seperate bedroom with a kingsize bed. You can have your food served to you at the little restaurant or they will bring it directly to your room for no extra charge. The beach is a very short walk (2-3 minutes) directly in front of the hotel. I had the beach almost all to myself. You can also surf and boogie board and the hotel provides each room with a board at no extra costs.

Cons: Really none other than it being remote.

Many of the employees spoke only Spanish so it was difficult to communicate effectively our needs. Also, there was no hot water in the shower.

Reception was uneventful, Orlando was welcoming. All the staff were constantly busy cleaning raking, etc. Our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Having said this, the food service was strange at best.
Items on the menu were often not available for example, no rice ? In Panama or anywhere else ? My order of chicken with mushroom sauce was smothered in a mass of gelatinous dark goo that tasted like the can of gravy it came from ! The road leading to the resort was almost impassable and I was concerned about breaking a spring or losing my muffler, terrible. I will not be back

Small resort, but clean, beach VERY close just a cross the road, beautiful beach very peacefully. We have the miles of beach to walk, the beautiful sunset and gorgeous views of the moonlight. The menu can be a little bit large. But there is other restaurants within few miles. The only inconvenience is the last 2 kilometer the road not very good.

Great isolated location for peace and quiet. Owners and staff were both very helpful and friendly. Fabulous 14 km beach, deserted during the week!
We even went back andere days later on our return journey!

The resort was exceptionally cleaned and well maintained. Rooms was spacious and comfortable. Service was excellent and little added amenities showed the staff’s attention to detail. Beach was beautiful and great for walking or swimming. Road was a little rough for about 2 miles but the bumps were worth it.

We stayed in their deluxe King room. It was a one bedroom suite. Very very nice! Although, the air conditioning unit didn't seem large enough to handle the square footage. Beautiful veranda and a nice setup at the beach with a two story lounge hut and a hammock. Enjoyed our stay and we will return.

This is a very small resort located in a very isolated area of Panama. The road is a little rough getting in. Las Lajas beach is incredible. It is huge and practically deserted. If you're looking to get away and experience a quiet, more natural vacation this is your spot. If you're into the party scene and 'Marriott' comfort/amenities don't come here, you won't like it. Try Playa Blanca area instead.
The staff are very, very friendly and helpful. Ask and ye shall receive! That said management could make a few minor adjustments to improve. 1 - just a few items in the room would have been appreciated like: shampoo; soap; creamer and sugar. Also the units are huge with full kitchen but no where to eat in or out. So lets guests use the picnic tables and respectfully the loungers by the pool (right outside the unit door). Get rid of the rule that you cannot eat or drink unless you buy it from the bar/restaurant. Also, we know bugs are a sore spot with people but fumigating each night and morning is a bit scary. Not sure what your solution is here? Maybe just ask - would people be ok with a few ankles biters at dawn and dusk OR chemicals?
