Pros:

Location, ease of catching the ferry to Stewart Island and really appreciated hotel offer of leaving my car in their car park.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was no chef so I could not eat at the hotel nor at the RSA which had the same problem.

Pros:

體驗很棒！我和旅伴一起去待了一晚上，旅館風格雖然比較舊，但是很整潔溫馨，老實說我很喜歡他們的風格，也非常的安靜。飯店Owner人也很好，給我們一些關於當地和附近的旅遊景點建議，飯店位置也離海岸很近，所以我不懂為什麼有人會抱怨。未來如果能再來紐西蘭旅行，我也會再來回來拜訪。


Great experience!

I stayed here for one night with my friend, and we really enjoyed it. Although the hotel has a slightly older style, it is very clean, cozy, and well maintained. Honestly, I really liked the atmosphere, it felt warm and comfortable, and it was also very quiet.

The owner was incredibly kind and gave us some great recommendations for local attractions and things to do nearby. The location is also very close to the coast, which was a big plus for us.

I’m honestly not sure why some people would complain? our experience was nothing but positive. If I ever come back to New Zealand in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

The owners Pam and Mike were fantastic and very accommodating. They were also helpful with local advice. It's a very comfortable retro hotel! Great stay!

Quirky little hotel close to Bluff points of interest.
Pros:

A quirky little hotel, with very friendly owners, to the point that they came out into the car park and ensured my car was within the range of the CCTV coverage. Very helpful and informative with local information. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was a good size.

Cons:

Though tea and coffee were available downstairs 24/7, it would be nice to have it in the room.

Lovely, clean, comfortable hotel with friendly owners.
Pros:

Lovely old art deco building, central location, friendly helpful owner. Also close to the ferry terminal and owner offered for me to leave my hire car in the hotel’s car park while visiting Stewart Island.

Cons:

Not keen on stairs - to get luggage up and down, the owner helped me, so it was not an issue.

Pros:

Very comfortable bed. Took you back to the 1970s but in a good way. How accomodation used to be - really enjoyed stay. Owners were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be accomodating. They allowed us to park our car in their carpark when we went to stewart island. Walking distance to the ferry 200m. Would stay there again as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The bed was very hot. Not much sound proofing between room and hallway. Plugs minimal.
