Pros:

Interesting Cave room with bedroom up a spiral staircase through the rock. Balcony with great views.. Downstairs lounge area and bathroom with corner bath. Lovely swimming pool inside a cave. Quite an unusual experience. Breakfast a bit limited but ok evening snacks limited. Little garden to sit in for drinks

Cons:

Room was very cool in the 36 degree heat :) but I imagine will be very cold and damp in cooler weather. Beware that some chairs are metal and with the damp atmosphere in the cave left rust spots on my clothes.

Très beau cadre et insolite, typique de la vallée de Saumur. La décoration est faite avec beaucoup de goût.

Il n'y avait pas de véritables occultants aux fenêtres ce qui était embêtant pour le confort du sommeil.

Le style de la chambre 1 était très bien pensé. La piscine dispo 24h/24 était génial pour passer un moment en famille. Le petit déjeuner en famille en terrasse comme à l'intérieur était super.

Hotel con encanto. Habitación amplia y acogedora. Camas cómodas, incluso la supletoria. Piscina espectacular y abierta 24 h. El gerente nos ayudó con la reserva de un restaurante. Buen desayuno.

Cons:

La recepcionista es desagradable. Ducha incómoda, no hay soporte en la pared para sujetarla. Ruido por las noches (carretera y huéspedes hablando). Avispas muertas dentro del tarro de miel y jarra de zumo en el desayuno. La cena tiene mucho margen de mejora, no recomiendo cenar allí. Es el peor sitio que he cenado en Francia en 8 días. El desayuno no está incluido en el precio por lo que se dispara el precio final. No tiene aire acondicionado ni ventiladores, pero esto lo sabíamos de antemano.

La suite troglodyte exceptionnelle ainsi que la piscine troglodyte aussi.
Pensez à réserver les chambres troglodytes !
Le personnel est très sympathique et à notre écoute.
Le village de Turquant a beaucoup d'atouts intéressants, visite de caves viticoles, champignonnière, restaurant !
Un seul espoir, c'est de revenir !

Cons:

La chaleur dans la chambre dépourvue de climatisation (installation impossible compte tenu du bâtiment).
La chaleur était exceptionnelle cette année mais au vu du réchauffement climatique 😞 peut être prévoir un autre système de rafraîchissement des chambres
