MOXY Denver Cherry Creek

Staff was very rude, we did not get the room we had booked through booking.com, and they made faces at us as we were leaving the check in desk, they did give us a room that was off line for maintenence but the bathroom was pretty gross. I'm glad we got a room but the rooms overall feel like a hostel, no desk, folding stools and folding table no chairs, no closet, no dresser, no mini fridge, hooks too close to floor so clothes drag on floor, no waters, no instructions for tv, no where to put luggage except the little folding stools. Bar was nice. Beds comfortable, shower was gross, water pressure didn't work with cold water so had scalding hot water and couldn't stand in shower under it too hot. Would not stay at another Moxy, seems like it is trying to be "hip" more than trying to provide a good hospitality experience.

Staff is incompetent and rude. This is the worst moxy I’ve ever been to.

very hip looking lobby and location seems to be right in the middle of a walkable restaurant district. there’s construction all around but it’s hard to tell if this is a community center or tourist center. maybe it’s a combination. anyway-the hotel bed is comfortable and the tv and air conditioner work fine. that all said, i am a business traveler and this is NOT suitable: no desk for my laptop, no iron for my shirt, no fridge, no coffee maker and no safe. if i were here for a weekend to visit friends, maybe but for biz, no. there is an ironing room
but the iron is 100 years old and in pieces-no way it’s in working condition. they should be embarrassed by that actually. the soap
and shampoo dispensers in the shower work. look, i’m a NY’er so maybe a tougher critic than most; to me this place is mehhhhhhhhh.

This hotel is very modern and conveniently located. I love the welcome drinks. I personally really loved having a steamer in my room as opposed to a traditional iron. It made my life a lot easier. I also want to recognize the level of care and attention that this entire staff has but especially Emily. I had some difficult rules and requirements for my company as I was traveling for business. Emily went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied Marriott Bonvoy customer. I cannot wait to come back and stay in this hotel anytime I’m in the Denver area. I found that my room had plenty of space. I booked a room with 2 beds in it.

Cool bar and good places to work early in the morning. Free coffee was extremely strong and did the job!

Every time I go to the Moxy the staff take care of me like I am family. Jenna and Cher are the best, they truly understand what it means to give good hospitality. This hotel also does not have a destination/resort fee which I love.

This is the best hotel to stay in Cherry Creek. Walking distance to every shop and restaurant

I think the trendy marketing and four stars make the Moxy seem more luxe than it really is, but they’re a great alternative to white bread chains at a fantastic price. Maybe they’re trying too hard to be on trend, but this price for a hotel in the walkable heart of Cherry Creek is fantastic. Whole Foods is right next door, they give you a free drink at check in, fridges are available if you ask (mine was delivered immediately), free morning coffee is well stocked and actually decent. All staff I interacted with were extremely nice and helpful. My room was clean and the shower had great heat and pressure. It was great for my 15 hour stay….

Location

The location was perfect within easy walking distance to the Cherry Creek Art Festival. The bed was comfortable and the room exceptionally clean and well appointed. The elevator security feature is a plus.
