Residence Inn by Marriott Clearwater Beach

Good location

Breakfast was a bit of a surprise. Let's just say the crockery was more 'disposable picnic' than 'dining in'

Location was excellent. Staff was awesome. Especially Erica from food services. She had such a great attitude, always laughing and smiling. A great way to start your day just by being greeted by her. Everyone that worked there was so positive and very helpful. It definitely made the stay there more enjoyable.

This hotel is combined with Spring Hill Suites of Marriott and the facility as a whole looks like a big dormitory. The staff is not well versed with English. We had to repeat so many times to get a single thing done. As soon as we checked in, we noticed that our water in the bath was not working. We had to call the emergency staff and had to get the plumbing issue fixed. They were good with that.

The breakfast time was till 10 am and the staff would start winding up things from 9:30am. One time the muffins were out by 9:35 and we asked them to refill and they said they were out and couldn't do it. When we asked for decaf at 9:50 am, the same response came that it was out and couldn't do it. We were expecting that at least till 10 am things should be available. They usually keep disposable plates for breakfast. That's fine. At one time around 9:15 when the plates were out, they brought the plates which were 4 inches in diameter. The quarter part (1/4) of the waffle couldn't be fitted properly in it. After lot of people complained about it, they got bigger ones around 9:45.

Overall breakfast staff service sucks. I would avoid this hotel and would go to Hyatt Regency which is opposite to this hotel where the beach is accessible and the service was very good and up to the mark. We had their day pass and we could notice the huge difference.

The rooms are good. With a kitchen. Good for families.

We had a fantastic day at residence Inn Clearwater Beach. We were there for a soccer tournament and love the location. Right in the middle of everything. The hotel was very clean and convenient and the breakfast was very good.

The staff was fantastic! The bartender, Zach, was great and so friendly. He made hanging out down in the bar area so much fun. The valet staff was exceptional. We had an issue with our rental car while we were staying there and they offered so much help.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

The room was perfectly clean and everything we could need was there. I would like to higlight the kindly atention of Cynthia and Cremancia. They were always pending of our needs and they clean very well our room. It was a pleassure to be treated in that way.

We just held a Navy Reunion at the Residence Inn. Location is excellent, central to everything including the beach. The suites were excellent with all of the amenities you could want . Most importantly, however, the staff was fantastic! Everybody was pleasant, very helpful, and responded to our requests immediately. I would highly recommend this hotel for personal, business, or group stays .

We had a great mini stay at this hotel. The staff was professional, the pool was great! And we were close to everything. Shout out to Richard Ratliff for making our stay extra special!
