It was avery good stay but need to be better for a Springhill hotel.
Pros:

The location was Great,the valet was great and the staff was great

Cons:

The room furniture was old ,used and really dirty.The fridge didn't work, the sink was broken and the outlets by the bed didn't work. Floor was stained in room 659 and room 661.

That we had to pay an outrageous amount daily for parking even though we didn’t leave everyday we were there. And it was not advised to us prior to booking that there was a charge for Valet parking.

Great location to the beach, & comfortable place to stay after the sun & sand
Pros:

We enjoyed the size of the room, it's nice to have king bed & room to spread out some as well. The bed was comfortable & the room was clean & neat.
We usually stay at Hilton chains because they are pet friendly & offer breakfast. We actually liked the breakfast at Springhill Suites Marriott better.
They had bold hot coffee for me, & cold brew for my hubby that he really liked. There were 4 waffle makers, which I thought was so smart of them for busy mornings. Everything thing else was very tasty as well. We also saw that they are pet friendly if we ever wanted to bring our pup with us when we go down to Clearwater. We like the location of this hotel. It's so easy to walk to anything got want to visit on the Clearwater Beach strip & the beach is obviously right there as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Breakfast was not good. I still don't understand why we use plastic spoons/fork/knives..? The amount of waste generated is incredible.

Pros:

There was no kitchen and the shower had no handle to close it when you step in. Shower floor very slippery. The staff told me to put a towel down I would not slip.
