The hotel is great! Very clean, very nice facilities.
The staff was bad.... We had a bad experience checking in. I informed them the day before our arrival that we would arrive by 1:00pm and an early check in would be helpful. We were coming out of state and needed to be at an event at 5:00pm. It would have been great to get into our room a little early to get ready. They made us wait until 4:00pm on the dot. We actually didn't get into our room until 4:20ish. I also requested a microwave for our room due to being on a special diet. Didn't happen until later that evening. I'm not the complaining type, I never respond to these.... but I was very frustrated with the lack of customer service.
Really great location and a nice style hotel really good valet team and front of desk.
The Gym wasn’t great and I think maybe for the price you’re paying per night, it could feel a little bit more high-end with attention to detail

The hotel is so cute. It’s in a very convenient location, just a couple minutes from the beach and a short walk to the marina. I love the area. The amenities at the hotel are lovely. Beach chairs, umbrellas, sandals, sand toys, bikes. The rooms are nicely decorated and make you feel very beachy. Everyone at the hotel was very lovely and nice. The mayors restaurant was very good. I would go back and recommend the hotel. I didn’t use the spa, but I will be trying it next time. I loved that they offer spa services in your room, like a cold plunge. We did go into the spa to buy sunscreen and they gave us great service. The pool temperature was great!
Very happy overall and will be back again.
People were nice, but housekeeping forgot us for two days and we had to request towels and trash pick up. For the money paid, we would not rate it as a great “value” pick.

The location is fabulous. Easy to walk to the ocean, fun good restraunts, and cute shops. The outdoor bar upstairs has wonderful views and great atmosphere, bring a sweater. THe room was nice & clean. The location is the best thing
Had a beautiful stay for our anniversary. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Staff was attentive. Drinks at the pool were great. Fab location. Annabeth made sure we were spoiled for our anniversary. Can't wait to go back!!
Stayed here for work and plan to come back with the whole family. This is a wonderful hotel. Staff is great, location is perfect (2 blocks from the beach) and in the heart of newport beach. Really loved my stay!
We made a last minute reservation for our 40th wedding anniversary. From check in to check out-from the front desk to the restaurants, the service was outstanding! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We also enjoyed the private shuttle service to the beach and/or the nearby restaurants. For the beach, they provided not only the ride, but chairs, towels and an umbrella. We definitely plan on returning to this outstanding property. Thank you to all of the staff!

Always a great stay at Lido House. Service is excellent from valet, check-in, room service, and dining at the Mayor’s Table.
I spent 3 nights at the Lido House for a much needed "me-cation" sans husband and kids. The hotel is perfectly located blocks from the beach. I had one of the best 80-minute massages of my life (thanks to Helina!) and enjoyed healthy, delicious food. The service was excellent. I especially appreciate the little things Lido House does to make it feel more special and environmentally friendly (flip-flops to take home instead of generic slippers, refillable water bottle station, whimsical decor). It felt like staying at a boutique hotel. With nearby shopping and restaurants, there is an abundance of activities for solo travelers and families.
We had a couple of Bonvoy free night certificates so we arranged a little staycation here. Although we knew we wouldn't get an ocean view, we saw that the hotel was located in a nice area that would enable us to get our steps in.
The check-in experience was efficient. Our Bonvoy status was recognized and we were given a modest upgrade to a nice room with a balcony (see photo). The hotel has somewhat of a New England beach meets SoCal cool vibe to it. Very nice, but more casual than pretentious.
The pool was well-sized for the property and there seemed to be sufficient loungers around, with attentive wait staff. There was some construction going on in two areas but I never noticed noise or other impacts.
The best thing about the hotel to us was its location. It sits on a street that is filled with restaurants and bars within an easy walk. The beach is about three blocks away and from there, one can walk to the pier and many more restaurants. The hotel also is very near the entrance to Lido Island, a very walkable neighborhood with many interesting custom-built houses. We enjoyed walking to all of these areas.

Our room was located overlooking the pool. The music played at the pool made it impossible to sit or read on our patio

Extremely friendly and great service with one exception being the laundry service. I used the same day service and had to ask the following day where my clothes were. Some I received back the following day and the rest after 48 hours.
