The worst possible hotel. Avoid at all costs

Cons:

No staff onsite from 9 pm with zero instructions on how to get into the hotel and check in (booking.com says there is a 24x7 reception and that is NOT TRUE). Room was dirty, tired and had insects crawling about. Horrid experience from start to finish. Didn’t stay the second night that I had booked, and just paid for somewhere else without asking for a refund as I was so glad to get out of this hell whole. Even the toilet seat was broken for god sake.

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I strongly advise anyone considering this place to think twice before wasting their hard-earned money.

We booked through Booking.com for September 11–14, 2025, while travelling from Canada. We arrived around midnight, only to find the hotel closed. Apparently, they close at 10:00 p.m., yet this crucial information was not clearly communicated when we booked. Worse still, there was no accessible phone number to call anyone to let us in. Stranded after a long international journey, we had no choice but to find another hotel for the night, costing us three times the original price.

When we returned the following day, the receptionist was rude and unprofessional and did not even apologize. We requested a refund for the night we could not access our room, but were told to seek it through Booking.com. The hotel itself was equally disappointing: the elevator was broken, the rooms smelled unpleasant, and food crumbs in certain areas suggested poor cleaning standards.

After contacting Booking.com, we were directed back to the hotel for a refund. I have sent more than five emails and received absolutely no response. Both parties appear to be passing responsibility back and forth while we are left out of pocket.

Several other guests we encountered also expressed frustration with the hotel. This entire experience was unacceptable, from being stranded at midnight to the poor service, questionable cleanliness, and complete lack of accountability.

Save your money, time, and frustration. Stay away! A hotel that leaves paying guests stranded, treats them disrespectfully, and ignores repeated refund requests does not deserve their business. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. I also advise people to stay away from booking.com for not doing their due diligence of understanding and communicating the policies of the services they are offering

Wie immer tolle Lage und kostenlose Parkplätze

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist magerer geworden. Wir sind bereits zum 4. oder 5. Mal in diesem Hotel gewesen, daher kann ich es sehr gut beurteilen. Wir haben die Back-Camemberts, den Fruchtsalat und die pochierten Champignons vermisst. Der Gratis-Kaffeeautomat war zwar noch da aber ausgeschaltet. Womöglich gab es einen Managementwechsel.

So etwas haben wir in vielen Jahren und vielen vielen Hotels, in den wir schon waren noch NIE erlebt.

Ohne einen Mitarbeiter, der nachts zum Rauchen ins Freie ging, wären wir nicht in unser Zimmer gekommen. Am Nachteingang ist ein PIN-Automat. Wenn man nicht weiß, dass man diesen zuerst einschalten muss, hat man keine Chance. Der Mitarbeiter unter der Telefonnummer, die an der Tür stand, konnte kaum deutsch und wusste keine Hilfe außer der Behauptung, dass wir wohl die PIN zu oft falsch eingegeben haben. Als wir durch den Hotelgast dann endlich drin waren, war der Durchgang zu unserem Zimmerbereich mit einem Gitter versperrt. Zum Glück kannte sich der Gast aus und führte uns einmal komplett um das Hotel im Außenbereich herum über eine Wiese zu unserem Zimmertrakt. Von wegen die Rezeption ist Tag und Nacht besetzt.

War schon mal besser

Grundsätzlich gut. Modern eingerichtet. Küche mit Basisausstattung

Cons:

Die Zimmer scheinen immer mehr vernachlässigt zu werden. Diverse Lampen gingen nicht. Seifenablage in der Dusche hing halb runter und die Bettwäsche hatte große Flecken.
