Disgusting, Disgraceful and Downright Disturbing

Arrived and told parking wasn't included as they had no spaces left. Not that l had missed out but I booked a room with parking included as. was told no because they had no spaces left Made to park two blocks from hotel and had to walk back.

Room was nice enough but I went out with a friend so I spent no time in it. I was already late, had showered earlier that evening so didn't even use thebathroom.

I arrived back at about 4am exhausted, sat on the couch to take my boots off and fell asleep on the couch. I was woken by bashing on the door. It was security and Id overslept. I'd gone past my checkout time of 10am. The door burst open and an enormous security guard came trundling in yelling at me to get up and get out. Check out was 10am he yelled. I asked for 20 minutes to pack my things and get dressed. I apologised.

5 past 12 the phone rings. A woman tells me I've taken too long and I'm being charged a $125 late fee. Fined and penalised for sleeping in, for not hearing an alarm, for being exhausted. I told her I wasn't paying it. I was not advised I had a time limit before the fine was applied. I was given an opportunity to pack and dress and a moment later I was out the door. In reception I was greeted by the women from the phone who from the outset intended to passively aggressively antagonise the situation. She had made her decision because she still had to clean the room which was booked that night. The bed had not even been sat on let alone slept in. I argued that not all vacating rooms can possibly have their clean start at 10am, everyday rooms are cleaned at 12pm, 1pm, right up until check in times. She didn't care, didn't listen and wasn't prepared to discuss. An EFTPOS machine was thrust in front of me across her desk and l was told to tap my phone. I refused on principle and also knowing they had a $300 security bond that could easily access. Again she input the info required and thrust out the machine.

Was stunning awesome location loved it

Cons:

Kind of thought you could improve on the key access to confusing with three different ones to use plus ours didn’t work to access the pool area and had to go get a new one ! Plus would have liked a room with a view !

The staff were so rude, booking.com was not clear and therefore didn’t explain booking process and resulted in a poor experienced. Tried calling them about it and they passed me around and told me it was unfortunate and hung up.

First off all we were promised 1pm check in to then sit in the waiting lobby with a new born baby wanting to be fed and us needing the hotel facilities to feed him. Second of all the room was not clean stains everywhere on counter tops toilet and bed linen. 3rd reason the fire alarm was set in the early hours of the morning having to bring my new born baby down into the st waiting for the hotel to say what had happened. Very poor stay would like some compensation or a full refund
