Silver World Hotels Resorts

I stayed at this hotel as part of a larger group for a business meeting. The rooms are very nice: stylish and just the right size. Very quiet. The restaurant is also very stylish, and I loved the food. On the downside, only few staff speak more than a few words of English, so it can be a challenge if you do not speak Chinese and are on your own. The staff was super friendly though. I can't comment on the location, since I was always driven to and from the hotel, but it is not in a pedestrian area, but close to many businesses in Dongguan.

It was the worst experience that I ever had. I booked the reservation in this hotel because the hotel claims they have basketball court and tennis court.

My boy is pretty little, so I want to play with him in Hotel's basketball court without too many people. Unfortunately, when I inquiry to Hotel's front desk how could I access to the basketball court, they replied me it is not opened. However, I told them that I saw some people playing tennis in the court, and they said "The courts are not their properties/estate".

It is really like "fraud" for my feeling, because you could find the belonging equipment in Tripadvisor or Hotel's official website. I will definitely would NOT visit here again.

I had the advantage of being here accompanied by people from Hong Kong, which meant that the lack of English with the staff was not really a concern. So I cannot comment on how the experience is if you don't have that kind of support. However, everyone I came into contact with was quite nice and tried to help.

Very nice room, very big bed with a good mattress. Quiet and modern bathroom (great rain shower).

Wifi was not very fast, but I guess one has to blame the Chinese Wall more than the hotel for this.

Breakfast had a very wide selection, but very oriented towards Chinese breakfast with many for me (as poor westerner) strange choices. One should expect that if one stays in China :)

This is a resort hotel and it has a very nice swimming pool with hot tubs outside.

I can't really comment how this hotel compares to other hotels in the area unfortunately, but I was happy with it and would happily return.

2點後進店，在智游網站預定的，前台說剛和此網站聯結，搞了一個多小時才辦到入住，前台說沒記錄，提供了所有信息，又登入expedia網站給入住資料，才告知我所預定的雙床房沒有了，幾經周折才給了一間二樓的雙床房，房間比較小，床很小1.2米左右，星期六1100左右的價位，性價比不高

I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and it was ok then.
but, now its terribly run down; smells of smoke and lets pets stay in rooms.
practically no one speaks or understands english.

I recently came from the GRAND MERCURE IN humen, dongguan and it was so much better and even cost less.
i immediately returned to this hotel just after spending one day in SILVERWORLD.

Workers are pleasant and the place appears relatively clean, but everything about the SILVERWORLD seems tired & run down. lights are out early and they dont give heat in common areas.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY AROUND THE HOTEL OR WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. ITS A DEPRESSED, COMMERCIAL AREA.

if you have a choice try something else instead.
