A wonderful place to stay in Portsmouth
Pros:

Ye Spotted Dogge is such a wonderful place to stay and the hosts are warm and friendly. The interiors and rooms are decorated beautifully with period artworks and furniture, fresh flowers and fine china crockery. Absolutely beautiful. And the outdoor garden is stunning, it was in full bloom when we were there. A delicious continental breakfast is served in a gorgeously decorated tea room, a perfect start for the day. And there's a cosy bar for drinks before dinner as well. The location is very convenient too as it's walking distance from everything we wanted to see and do.

Fantastic historical hotel!
Pros:

Fantastic historical house with great decor and a very comfortable bed. The hosts were very pleasant to speak to and very helpful. Free Parking right outside the door.

Very relaxing, very enjoyable, sound Alex to be an excellent concierge/ barman etc

A unique hotel full of history and character, wonderfully clean and elegant with excellent hosts.
Pros:

The hosts were amazing and very welcoming. The history of the building is fascinating and worth a visit even if you aren't staying at the hotel! The rooms are glorious and decorated in a unique and elegant fashion and the breakfast was delicious and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay whilst attending a family wedding at the Royal Historic Dockyards.

Cons:

Nothing - it was a perfect venue for us and we would highly recommend it.

Absolutely perfect!
Pros:

A beautiful historical and very old building with lovely and helpful people running it. The breakfast was amazing (with fresh berries), excellent service, beautiful roses in the room, comfortable bed and a beautiful garden. The overall, absolutely perfect!

Das Haus ist absolut außergewöhnlich. Man wohnt wie in einem Museum, voller Kunst. Beim Frühstück wird alles sehr schön dekoriert und serviert (Plastik-frei), mit viel Stil und Flair. Es gibt eine urige Privat-Bar, wo wir nette Nachbarn und eine Barkeeper-Persönlichkeit kennengelernt haben. Auch sehr schönes Zimmer mit gepflegtem Bad. Ein rundum eindrucksvoller Aufenthalt. Dieses Haus ist ein seltenes Kleinod!
