Cons:

The suite was clean and the hosts were kind, but the check-in process was very confusing.

The email said: "Check-in at Hotel Bernina, Via Roma 24, just 150 meters from Design Suite Tirano."
I assumed it was the same building or that check-in would be at the place I’m staying in.

In reality, you have to go to a different hotel to get the keys first, then walk back to the Design Suite.
I spent 30 minutes walking around the same street with my luggage because it wasn’t clear that the addresses were different.

Please make this much clearer in the confirmation email. Saying:
"Check-in at Hotel Bernina. The accommodation itself is at a separate address 150m away"
would save guests a lot of stress after a long train journey.

A great facility for a short or long stay. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Pros:

Handy to the train station although the walk along cobblestones hard work with heavy suitcases. Room great with a nice amount of space. A spacious bathroom and loved the wee balcony. Staff helpful and kind.

Cons:

No problems to complain about.

The design suite was very nice, clean and comfortable. TIrano is a lovely little town.
Cons:

I think you need to teach your young lady at the reception some social skill! We arrived in Tirano by train and walked with our bags to the Design suite rooms, when we got there there was a sign saying we had to check in at the Bernina hotel so we walked back to the station with our bags to check in, I mentioned the fact we had had to walk back with our bags and it was not very nice, she just said that when we made the booking we were informed about check-in at the Bernina hotel, i said I had not received any message from the hotel and no mention of this on my booking.com form but she continued to insist that we where sent a message,I assure you no mention arrived but it was not worth my time to argue with this young lady so we walked back to our rooms with our bags. Next day our train was at 11.07 but check out is at 10.00, never seen such and early checkout in my life (I am 75) we asked if we could leave our bags at reception, again the young lady said no, only if we pay to leave the bags, NEVER as this ever happened to us, not very unacceptable.

Siamo stati ricevuti da un impiegato scortese.
Non abbiamo intenzione di ritornare e non consiglieremo questo hotel a nessuno.

Il personale era scortese e poco disponibile, soprattutto la persona che ci ha accolto al nostro arrivo.
Camera senza aria condizionata, Internet terribile, cattivo odore, polvere, letto scomodo.
