It was satisfactory I found the cooked breakfast bland, however the poached eggs were excellent.
Cooked breakfast bacon was very tastelesss.
Second visit here. Very accommodating staff
We got locked out at nighttime and no staff on duty
This was about 11:30 pm.
But a guest let us in.
Location and breakfast
The room was spacious, the towels were luxurious, loved having a bath as well as a shower, felt like we were spoiled, breakfast was well above the norm, staff looked after our needs perfectly.
Not anything was to unlike.
Our first time in Portpatrick and the Fernhill hotel, we booked a deal through itison. Hotel is very nice, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, we were also given a free upgrade, we had a room with amazing sea views and a balcony, 2 big comfy leather chairs and a queen size bed which was really comfortable.
We ate in the restaurant which also boasts amazing views, food was excellent and service also. I definitely recommend this hotel, we can't wait to go back again.
Great location and exceptionally friendly staff!
Nothing
Beautiful location, warm and relaxing with top quality food very well prepared.
Nothing.
We were upgraded from the anex to a lovely spacious room with a glorious sea view
I made a wrong choice on the evening meal menu!!!
Excellent personal service. We had made a mistake with our booking but that was smoothed out with no issues.
Meals were lovely. Staff were accommodating to my dietary requirements and offered options to suit. Very comfortable room and having a bath was really welcome.
Amazing view! The room was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and professional.
The toilet didn’t flush properly. A little cold in the room
A nice tranquil place to stay.
Nothing to note
Location is beautiful with excellent bedroom and harbour view.
Bathroom towel radiator was absolutely roasting. So hot that I burnt my hand. Reported it to management twice. Little interest in reporting incident. Didn't offer any solutions or medical help. Very poor.
The Fernhill Hotel has a great location high up looking over Portpatrick Habour ,On arrival we were meet by the girl on reception who was absolutely great and really helpful throughout our one night stay, all the staff were polite and friendly { apart from the breakfast waiter } the room was spacious and clean as was the well equipped bathroom with plenty of clean towels, if we are ever back in that area i wound not hesitate to book the Fernhill hotel.
Breakfast the bacon was very fatty the haggis was just in a small heap, sausage had no taste at all, it was all served by a guy who looked as if he had just got out of bed and as miserable as a wet day, on the plus side there was plenty toast , honey, marmalade etc,
Great value loved the views , helpful staff Rosie was great at check in and breakfast good sized rooms and balcony, good parking short walk to village good breakkfast
Nothing liked it all
