Great location, lovely decor and well kept. Food was nice but bit overpriced drinks although seems to be the trend now
My room was a double standard bit narrow and bed was also hardly fitting 2 people. The superior was lovely though.

The food was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the location was very convenient.
Parking, no elevator, no assistance with luggage, the shower has no water pressure and the sink water had 2 separate faucets for hot and cold.

It was hot and the window overlooked the beer garden so too noisy when the window was open in the evening.
There was no shelf in the bathroom. No drawers for clothes in the room - only one chair.
The coffee machine was 'broken' so instant only on day one but it was difficult to obtain even this on day two.
Breakfast on the Saturday morning when we left was at 8.30 so only had time for cereal and toast as we had a train to catch.
2 bottles of water provided on day one ,none on day two.

Cleaning and paintwork below standard
The staff allowed me to check in early as i was due at a wedding at 2pm, which meant i could get dressed and freshen up on a very hot day before travelling to the venue.

Comfortable stay. Booked small room as tho was all that was available. It was small! Food excellent and staff good. Perhaps some could do with some dementia training. The waitress we had was lovely, patient and understanding.
It’s a great place , staff are exceptional, appear to genuinely care , everyone I encountered couldn’t have been nicer
I initially couldn’t find the car park , but it’s to the rear and it’s plenty big enough
