Really Helpful Manager - Thanks!
Pros:

We checked in weary from a long train journey. The hotel isn't too far from the train station.

We were shown to our room on the 3rd floor. There weren't any windows which was a shame, it's always nice to see some daylight!

The internet was ok once logged in and worked throughout the hotel.

Breakfast was good, a varied buffet of a few dishes each day.

The gem of this hotel was the manager Kat (sp?) who was on duty each morning. He spoke perfect English and and super helpful. He advised us to download the Ola taxi app which saved us a fortune on greedy tuktuk drivers.

He advised laces to visit and even helped which my Indian SIM card stopped working.

The room was the cleanest we experienced in India and was functional. It would have been nice to have a room safe but with the friendly manager we never felt threatened.

The only downside, it would have been nice to enjoy a drink in the hotel bar in the evening and maybe some food. Unfortunately the couple of times we visited in the evening it was a cloud of tobacco smoke so we passed it by.

Locally there was nothing within walking distance but taxis were quick and cheap to get anywhere.

Overall as a hotel, great value and above average for India at this price range, highly recommended.
