Nothing
I liked the room, ot was comfortable, clean and bed well made. Also, near to some wonderful scenery for climbing,, walking and scrambling.
I'm not sure if I liked the fact that there was limited parking at the property and the fact that everything was off the menu except for steak and ale pie. They provided a good breakfast for the next day ahead. Slightly rushed as well as stressed staff and customers.
The hotel is dog friendly ..the hot tub room is excellent...once turned on which we had to ask for..
The first room had no proper window...there were 2 opening small windows that you could not reach...the cooked breakfast is very poor...with tinned tomatoes and awful sausages ...too many notices around the hotel...even one telling you how to put your dog in the lift..
We were duped, the photo of the room was a double bedroom, the actual booking was a dormitory, which we saw after paying.
As 60 year olds, we we weren't up for that. The advisor misinformed us by cancelling it and neglecting to tell us we still had to pay, and could not get even a credit for another room.
We said, have we actually lost our money, he said yes, have a nice day.
We've used this website loads, very disappointed and can't trust them again after falsly advertising a room.
Being conned
Good sized room and bathroom. Very good breakfast.
Please supply better quality toilet paper, I've had bigger stamps.
On site parking. Center of town. Great facilities all within walking distance. Cold Breakfast provided if leaving early to walk.
Location
No real downsides, a very good Village centre hotel VFM. Had four poster room and the bed posts where in the way of the telly, a small thing not a massive issue
Where it was situated. Was a lovely village
The room was tiny. A small double. The tv was a 15” so couldn’t watch and there was no aerial
